This is a lovely hotel with pleasant, classic and cosy rooms as well as good location. I like the buffet breakfast they have offered as there are quite a good choice of breads and cakes, especially the choice of coffee. The staff from the reception...More

I have arrived home today from a lovely short break to Venice. We chose this hotel based on location and reading other trip advisor reviews previously. It's in a great spot and in walking distance to the main San Marco square and plenty of restaurants...More
I am reluctant to promote just how good this hotel really is, because it’s a hidden gem that should n’t be spoilt. Well it’s not that hidden, it’s a five minute walk from St Mark’s Square but it’s so quiet. The front desk managers are...More
Stayed at this hotel this past autumn. The hotel tucked away from the madness yet walkable to most attractions. The hotel staff was wonderful and very accommodating. We had a great private balcony that provided a quiet oasis. Looking forward to visiting again.
We enjoyed our stay here but rooms are small and minimal and a touch old...but it all still worked. We enjoyed the service and breakfast in the morning and the decorations and decor were very cute. The front desk clerk was a bit stern when...More
The most famous sestiere (district) in Venice has one of the world's most famous squares, St. Mark's (Piazza San Marco). Anchored on one end by the basilica, clustered around it are restaurants, museums, shops, orchestras playing in the square, pigeons, the grand pink Doge’s Palace (Palazzo Ducale), the soaring campanile bell tower, an astrological clock tower, plus gorgeous cafes and restaurants like Florian and
Quadri. Piazza San Marco is beloved by Venetians themselves. They book a table anytime, which offers a buffer from the fray. This grand outdoor drawing room attracts Venetians for a stroll too, especially late in the afternoon when the hoards of daytrippers thin out. It's simply a grand place to meet.

The Hotel BEL SITO is easy to reach with public boat Linea 1 from the terminals of Piazzale Roma or from Santa Lucia Railway Station, getting off at stop called Santa Maria del Giglio, after Accademia Bridge, or with a private water taxi right to the water entrance, surely more expensive.
We look forward to have the pleasure of welcoming you!
