I hesitate to write the following rave review, as I do not want to make it so popular that I will have trouble booking it again in the future. But our experience there was so pleasant that I am afraid I will earn bad karma...More
Wonderfully sited small hotel close to the Accademia & Gugenheim museums in a quiet but working part of Venice. Eclectic Art Nouveau design with very comfortable rooms, wonderfully helpful staff & an excellent breakfast. what more could one want
The day trippers to Venice invariably leave unimpressed. Venice is at its best before they arrive in the morning, or after they leave.
Or stay longer, like we did, for 4 nights. And forget about being centrally located near St Mark's Square. Stay in Dorsoduro...More

I read with joy your very positive review and we are all extremely happy about it. as you wrote, one of the pros of the hotel is our location: close to the Accademia bridge (and therefore 15 minutes' walk or one to three...More

From the moment we arrived, the staff were friendly and courteous. Our room was right next to the lift (no.6) which worried me a little but no need! The lift was so quiet and the way the room was arranged with a little outer hall/dressing...More

Artsy is the defining mood of this neighbourhood with street artists, students, painters, sculptors, restorers, curators, historians, collectors, heirs and heiresses rubbing elbows. Peggy Guggenheim's collection, now a museum, lures chic locals for evening art aperitifs. Traditionalists and visionaries cocoon in bohemian luxury. La Salute basilica buttresses the neighbourhood to the east. Gondolas bob
in the morning light. The Accademia Bridge crosses the Grand Canal. A back street doubles as basketball court. Palaces house residents, or like Ca' Foscari a university, or a museum like Ca’ Rezzonico that attracts Venetians for concerts. Dorsoduro reveals its industrial roots too, in buildings converted to house university departments or exhibitions. Campo Santa Margherita bursts with youthful energy from local students. Foot traffic bustles to and from Piazzale Roma and Santa Lucia train station. Evening commuters pause for an aperitivo. Neighbours exchange confidants in a campo (square) on their way to market.

the best I think would be to get suggestions when you arrive at the hotel because there are so many nice places. and all depends on which kind of food you like, the dress code, the location, and other factors.
otherwise, please get in touch by email and we will be pleased to send you a selection of places.
my personal opinion is to do it together when you arrive, talking in person.
