Perfecto (location) - Perfecto (breakfast) - Perfecto (staff). The three things important for any stay abroad. First off, this location is ideal, located in a quiet beautiful neighborhood, Dorsoduro. The CA (short for casa, house) Pisani is located just off the Academia bridge, about 100 yards or so south. This makes it easy to get on and off of the...

Very helpful staff and great accommodation. The location is in a quiet and artsy corner of Venice but for people (like us) trying to get to San Marco Piazza precinct where the action is, the location was a tad far.

This hotel is a little gem. Location is in the Academia area and close to one of the four bridges over the Grand Canal. Reception staff are excellent, rooms are modern, very clean and have everything you need. Breakfast is a great selection and we had dinner one night which was also wonderful food. Hard to fault this place and...

We stayed one night because our other hotel was full which gave us a chance to compare. This is the neighborhood you want to be in, near the Academia but a little off the beaten path. Beautiful designed room with lovely bathroom with jacuzzi. Bed was so hard we hurt in the morning. Nice breakfast. Staff was ok. But location,...

dear Resto613, thank you a lot for your nice review and especially for considering us your 'home away from home'. as you wrote, one of the most difficult aspects of running an hotel is to keep the standards as high as they are originally, when the hotel started its business. so I really appreciated you words, and at this point,...

Near vaporetto on quiet side of Grand Canal. Beautifully restored hotel with a short stroll to The Guggenheim. A can't miss choice. Friendly staff that made departure water taxi reservations for us and had a porter bring our bags canal side & loaded them.

When I saw my room at Ca' Pisani, I really thought I'd hit the jackpot. The bedroom was attractive and spacious with, as expected, beautiful pieces of deco furniture. The view was of a pleasant courtyard. The bathroom was gorgeous, with a separate shower and bathtub. On the vanity, a small built-in container offered up cotton balls in multiple pastel...

dear Sasark, thank you very much for your long and detailed review. I am really glad that overall you enjoyed your stay and I read with happiness that there were many 'pros', including the style of your bedroom, the spacious bathroom, the smiling and professional front desk, the tasty and rich breakfast, and our super location (downtown, but at the...

My wife and I were on our honeymoon, and unfortunately booked a neighboring hotel that was tiny, dated, had paper thin walls, had a very uncomfortable bed, and had a ton of mosquitoes. We started looking at nearby hotels and came across Ca' Pisani. OMG what a difference!!! Ca' Pisani staff were super friendly and accommodating, they showed us the...

Had 3 nights to celebrate my wife's 50th birthday and what a fantastic hotel this is. We had room 21 and although the ice machine and tea and coffee making outside the room we found that there was no noise from it. The staff are amazing and breakfast is fantastic. Staying in Dorsoduro / Accademia

Neighbourhood Profile
Dorsoduro / Accademia
Artsy is the defining mood of this neighbourhood with street artists, students, painters, sculptors, restorers, curators, historians, collectors, heirs and heiresses rubbing elbows. Peggy Guggenheim's collection, now a museum, lures chic locals for evening art aperitifs. Traditionalists and visionaries cocoon in bohemian luxury. La Salute basilica buttresses the neighbourhood to the east. Gondolas bob in the morning light. The Accademia Bridge crosses the Grand Canal. A back street doubles as basketball court. Palaces house residents, or like Ca' Foscari a university, or a museum like Ca’ Rezzonico that attracts Venetians for concerts. Dorsoduro reveals its industrial roots too, in buildings converted to house university departments or exhibitions. Campo Santa Margherita bursts with youthful energy from local students. Foot traffic bustles to and from Piazzale Roma and Santa Lucia train station. Evening commuters pause for an aperitivo. Neighbours exchange confidants in a campo (square) on their way to market.
