Great hotel , just off St Marks Sq. We were given a suite. Reception staff very helpful and pleasant. Breakfast is ok, staff not very helpful in the dinning room.

Located very close to San Marco Square. Very friendly staff and clean rooms. While our room was quiet some rooms may be a bit noisy due to location. Breakfast, which is included, was pretty good. Wifi is good.
The hotel is just one minute walk from San Marco square. A water bus brings you very close. We were in an annex building that was just around the corner. 2 bedrooms and large bathroom. Small kitchen with microwave and fridge and hot plate but...More
Could not have wished for a lovlier room, it was absolutely beautiful!! We even had a pretty living room and kitchenette too. Fantastic room facilities including air con and hairdryer etc. Fabulous location. Have already been recommending to friends and family!!!
This beautiful hotel is located in a great spot, a minute from Piazzo San Marco, but far enough away from the crowds. Short walk from the pier, easily access with wheeled luggage. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and updated...More

The most famous sestiere (district) in Venice has one of the world's most famous squares, St. Mark's (Piazza San Marco). Anchored on one end by the basilica, clustered around it are restaurants, museums, shops, orchestras playing in the square, pigeons, the grand pink Doge’s Palace (Palazzo Ducale), the soaring campanile bell tower, an astrological clock tower, plus gorgeous cafes and restaurants like Florian and
Quadri. Piazza San Marco is beloved by Venetians themselves. They book a table anytime, which offers a buffer from the fray. This grand outdoor drawing room attracts Venetians for a stroll too, especially late in the afternoon when the hoards of daytrippers thin out. It's simply a grand place to meet.
No kettle and didn't find any problems with staff and they happily directed us across the way for a hot water flask..however was too hot for a hot drink in the end and we stuck to cold ones in out room.

Fairly long walk in the airport to the water taxi’s, stay inside to access the walkway, take lift or stairs down to pontoon level at the end then left and your find booking offices on the left with price list over window - water taxi is your only option at that time, you have 2 choices, you can share with others which is cheaper but may have to wait so best take the hit and pay full fare you’ll get to San Marco pontoon much quicker!
