Just returned from a four day break in Venice. How lucky we were to have chosen to stay at this hotel, so thank you to Trip Advisor and the other comments left previously. The location was perfect, quiet but not far from St Marks Square,...More
An excellent place, in a really good location. a Short walk from St Marks Square, Plenty of restaurants around, but in the quieter part of the island
Brilliant staff and the breakfast was good.
Very Nice rooms in a beautiful hotel.. Worth a stay.....
We stayed for five enjoyable nights. This hotel is superb in every respect. Do not expect grand views of the City; this is not a converted palace but a small intimate hotel providing service which could not be bettered by the hotels on the Grand...More
My wife and I have stayed here 4 times since they've opened. We have stayed at 4 other hotels in Venice and have found that we feel most at home at the Novecento. We have considered either renting an apartment or checking out

The most famous sestiere (district) in Venice has one of the world's most famous squares, St. Mark's (Piazza San Marco). Anchored on one end by the basilica, clustered around it are restaurants, museums, shops, orchestras playing in the square, pigeons, the grand pink Doge’s Palace (Palazzo Ducale), the soaring campanile bell tower, an astrological clock tower, plus gorgeous cafes and restaurants like Florian and
Quadri. Piazza San Marco is beloved by Venetians themselves. They book a table anytime, which offers a buffer from the fray. This grand outdoor drawing room attracts Venetians for a stroll too, especially late in the afternoon when the hoards of daytrippers thin out. It's simply a grand place to meet.

It is close enough to the train station and very close to the main sites. Our stepson is staying there in December for one night I think because we recommend it as central. Novice to is about five to 10 minutes from the Rialto, St Marks Square etc. Remember to use the vaporettos as much as possible - it makes all the difference. And enjoy
