Nice but small room, friendly staff, easy late night check-in around midnight, clean room, great location!! 5 min walk from San Marco square in quiet street. Drop off with water taxi is possible at the front door.
Laura was great, she took the time to tell us all about the city and good places to go. Very nice. She also remembered my birthday! On top of that, the hotel was fantastic. Beautiful rooms with traditional fabric cushioned walls - the room was...More

Arrived late in Venice and took a private water taxi to the S. Maria del Giglio vaporetto stop and it was a short walk to the locanda. Since there is no night staff, we used the intercom to alert staff we had arrived and were...More

The most famous sestiere (district) in Venice has one of the world's most famous squares, St. Mark's (Piazza San Marco). Anchored on one end by the basilica, clustered around it are restaurants, museums, shops, orchestras playing in the square, pigeons, the grand pink Doge’s Palace (Palazzo Ducale), the soaring campanile bell tower, an astrological clock tower, plus gorgeous cafes and restaurants like Florian and
Quadri. Piazza San Marco is beloved by Venetians themselves. They book a table anytime, which offers a buffer from the fray. This grand outdoor drawing room attracts Venetians for a stroll too, especially late in the afternoon when the hoards of daytrippers thin out. It's simply a grand place to meet.

in Venice it is possible to walk, you don't need to ride a boat.
There are also pubblic water bus that stops you very close to our Inn, once you get off you reach us in 2 minuts walking.
