This is basically a good hotel on it’s three star level. It is carefully tucked away an a narrow passageway just north of Campo Santi Apostoli some six minutes walk from Rialto bridge. The best way to get to the area when arriving from Marco...More
Great room, clean, comfortable and spacious. All the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Central but quiet location, close to everything. Very good value for money. Would definitely go back and recommend to friends and family.
We booked a room in this hotel as they have rooms for family of 5.Venice doesn't have a lot of affordable options so we jumped on it when found this option. It was lovely, clean, spacious and a very central location. This unit was right...More
Stayed in Venice with the family at Hotel Mignon for a night, really enjoyed. The staff was really fruendly and they let us keep the luggage at the hotel the whole day after checkout so we could visit the city. The room was really cozy...More
We were recommended this quaint little, hotel in central Venice by friends who had been there 20 years before us. It would seem nothing had changed.

Cannaregio is the second largest sestiere (district) with its busy Santa Lucia train station. Many transplanted Venetians commute from the outlying areas, “terra firma” to the locals, which is shorthand for any place that is not Venice. Two Grand Canal bridges serve Cannaregio, the newest (Constitution, 2008) still a local hotbed of controversy. Ponte degli Scalzi is a busy link to the train station. Nearby
shops on the Lista di Spagna offer specialties like pastries and coffee that lure Venetians with a down-to-earth attitude. The Ghetto, where the Jewish population was segregated in Cannaregio, has five historic synagogues with an active Jewish community. The Fondamente Nove bustles with foot traffic to the Rialto and San Marco while vaporettos (water taxis) head to Murano and other islands. Side streets lead into quiet picturesque neighbourhoods and palaces like Ca' d'Oro rise directly out of the water.

I would take the cheap option and take the bus into the bus station in Venice then walk across the bridge on the grand canal. The hotel is just 10 to 15 minute straight forward walk. (See google street view) or take the number one water bus at around 7 euro per person but you still need to walk a few minutes to get to the hotel. I thought It was better value to get the 24 hour water bus pass which was twenty euro and used it to visit the island of Murono, Burono and to tour the grand canal.

Hi, the prices aboutthe water taxi are around 100€ from the VCE airport to Venice and to out hotel. we reccomend you to get a bus from the VCE airport and get to Ple Roma and then get a waterbus that will get you to the Ca D'Oro waterbus stop. When you will get off from there our hotel is reachable in 5 minutes.
For some restaurants this is a good site to get all of the info that you need, nearby or not to our hotel.
