We completely missed the fact initially it's so close to the Rialto bridge; especially helpful when you are commuting in and out of the city. In heart of the city, with all the relevant amenities - clean, large rooms with modern bathrooms, functional breakfast. The layout is a bit awkward but acceptable given that it's in middle of the city.... More

Less than a minute walk from Rialto Bridge, this B&B is hidden in a small street but the welcome email did a fine job of giving directions that are easy to understand. The staff was very nice and welcoming. We had a nice complimentary breakfast every morning with fruit, cereal, milk, coffee, bread, ham, cheese, and juice. The size of the room was fine. We didn't stay in it much. The TV was very small (but we didn't go to Venice to stay in our room and watch TV, so that didn't... More

This hotel is perfectly located near the Rialto bridge. It is a little tricky to find with your luggage, but the hotel does a nice job of giving directions that are easy to understand. The hotel is ideally located, in the center of Venice, easily accessible from the Rialto Bridge, even with suitcases. Very close to the Rialto bridge but hidden away on a side street so the crowds don't bother you at all. There is no elevator but Francesco help us with our luggage, he also pointed out for us all the areas to visit and recommended a few restaurants. Clean room and excellent service. Will stay there again.

Location is fantastic! Best ever! It's near every attraction and close walking distance to everything. The place was very clean and the rooms were comfortable and spotless. Staying in San Marco

Neighbourhood Profile
San Marco
The most famous sestiere (district) in Venice has one of the world's most famous squares, St. Mark's (Piazza San Marco). Anchored on one end by the basilica, clustered around it are restaurants, museums, shops, orchestras playing in the square, pigeons, the grand pink Doge’s Palace (Palazzo Ducale), the soaring campanile bell tower, an astrological clock tower, plus gorgeous cafes and restaurants like Florian and Quadri. Piazza San Marco is beloved by Venetians themselves. They book a table anytime, which offers a buffer from the fray. This grand outdoor drawing room attracts Venetians for a stroll too, especially late in the afternoon when the hoards of daytrippers thin out. It's simply a grand place to meet.
