We visited this hotel for our wedding anniversary. We were really suprised that we received a bottle of Prosecco and a fruit basket. Really nice gesture ! The hotel is very clean and well kept. The staff working around the hotel was polite and friendly. We highly recommend this hotel .

There was everything that you could want. Hotel Ai Mori D’Oriente is in a perfect location, away from the crowds of tourists but a short walk to all the sights, restaurants and cafes. The room was very comfortable and elegant. We rated the bathroom the best of our trip. The breakfast was amazing value for money and the staff went out of their way to provide gluten free items. All of the staff were attentive, friendly and helpful.

My boyfriend took me to Venice for my birthday and what a gorgeous hotel he chose. The exterior and interior are beautiful, the staff are brilliant, our bedroom was absolutely beautiful and they even left me a birthday treat. I definitely recommend this hotel. It’s also in a great location, the water boat stops about a 5 minute walk away for arrival and departure, and it’s a short walk to the main places (15-20 mins). If you choose to stay here please ask about the free boat trip to Murano and other bits they offer. Thank you Ai Mori D’Oriente!

We stayed 4 nights in this hotel in Cannaregio area. As stated by other reviewers, hotel is located out of the crow but definitively close to vaporetto and touristic places. We were very happy to stay there where staff is just so nice and always happy to help very kind for sure we recommend. Very friendly atmosphere. We did not have the breakfast included. So can’t tell about it. Just there is a lot place to have breakfast around . So not to worry! Hotel was very clean. Bedroom was cleaned. We’ll not hesitate for our next trip! Thanks again to all the staff at reception and cleaning lady!

We absolutely loved everything about this hotel. For the price we paid it was amazing. The service and staff are impeccable. It sits on a beautiful little canal very charming and quiet. But the hustle and bustle of awesome restaurants and shopping is just over each of the little bridges steps away. We found hidden gems everywhere for coffee and croissants to happy hour and nibbles. The main attractions of Venice were very walkable and close by. We arrived at the airport and had done some research that water taxi's could be expensive...Keep heading to the water out of the airport.. it's a bit of a walk but signage is good. So look for the public ALILAGUNA it is easy to find and our tickets were just 14 euro for both of us.. The stop is the first one for this hotel.. Maddona del "Orto .. I had took a photo of the directions online to walk.. and we arrived easily. Other tip is to take the Vaporetto (public waters around town) the stop for this hotel is S. Marcula and it's literally 5 mins away.

Avoid! Stayed there for a couple of nights as part of our honeymoon around Italy, only place that disappointed. Very friendly staff upon check in, very sour upon check out. As we were on our honeymoon they offered us an upgraded room. Upon check out they charged us for the upgrade stating they never offer complimentary upgrades, essentially calling us liars. The frustrating part is that the room they "upgraded" us to had an unbearable smell of stale smoke / cigar. As it was a complimentary upgrade we didn't want to appear ungrateful by complaining. When we raised this upon check out after been charged for the upgrade we were rudely dismissed. We followed up our complaint via email but only received a generic response fobbing us off. They also push to arrange for water taxi's and pick up's / drop off's at a charge. PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE. It is far easier AND FAR FAR CHEAPER to simply have a taxi called and pay directly (without the hotels unreasonable mark-up). I am sure many unsuspecting tourists have been stung by this scam. Finally, cocktails were terrible, breakfast is to be avoided and do not accept an upgrade!

From the moment we arrived, we received nothing but amazing service. Mine and my partners flight was a very early one and so we arrived at the hotel before we were able to go to the room, however the hotel checked us in and allowed us to store our bags so that we could explore Venice that day. The staff were lovely, and provided us with a map which highlighted some of the key sights. Location wise, the hotel was very walkable to the top sights of Venice, whilst being slightly out of the way of all the hussle and bussle. There were some local bars and restaurants about three minutes away which was perfect. When we were able to access the room we were not disappointed, and were especially grateful for the complimentary bottles of water each day since it was so hot outside. There were plenty of power outlets as well as a usb one which was great. We had breakfast as part of our stay, and opted to sit in the little garden area outside which was great. The food was delicious, with fresh meats, fruits and pastries, as well as scrambled eggs and bacon. We utilised the hotels free taxi service to Murano, which picked us up from directly outside the hotel and dropped us off at one of the glass factories there where we received a tour. It was necessary to arrange your own way home, however we had purchased a day pass for the water bus having wanted to have seen the other islands also so this was not an issue for us. All in all, the hotel was faultless and the staff deserve a special note due to their friendliness and attentiveness… nothing was too much trouble. We would definitely return!

Gorgeous, moorish styled rooms. Excellent air conditioning (a must in the summer). Very friendly and helpful staff, particularly for ordering water taxis. Located off the main tourist path in Venice, but just a few minutes walk away. Several good eateries nearby. Would definitely stay there again.

My husband and I absolutely LOVED this hotel. The hotel was incredibly charming and the rooms were very large for a European hotel. We had a luxurious and comfortable king-sized bed that overlooked a canal. The bathroom was large as well and the decor throughout was stunning. The hotel is located in the heart of Venice and is in an outstanding safe and clean location with a gorgeous view. We had our water taxi pick us up and drop us off literally feet away from the from enetrance. The staff was very helpful and welcoming. We absolutely loved it here and would definitely come back!
