Great stay! Excellent location. Nice and quiet. Very professional and kind staff. They know exactly what you need as a guest in Venice. We had a small problem with the internet, that was our fault, and the staff went the extra length to fix our problem at 10pm. Thank you! Excellent room. Will definitely stay again when in town.

We could only stay 2 nights and had to switch to another hotel because Ca' Bonvicini was booked for the weekend. We weren't sure how to get to the next hotel, so Umberto carried my 50 pound suitcase and walked a mile with us to lead us there! At the time, Venice was 95 degrees and very humid. When we...

Ca' Bonvicini is a superb place to stay. Our room was spectacular. The staff was very helpful and even carried our heavy bags up to our room on the 2nd floor, unlike other B&Bs where we have stayed. The room was air conditioned and sat over a quiet canal in the heart of venice, with a nice view from our...

Ca' Bonvicini was quite a lovely relief from some of the other places we stayed. The decor looked new and the whole place was very clean. It resembles a small quaint hotel here in the States. The room was spacious (we had a queen plus two twins), had wonderful air conditioning, and nice amenities. The best part were the windows!...

Had a great time at this wonderful B&B in Venice. The staff was incredibly helpful. The location was very well-placed to walk to the Rialto bridge.

Everything written by others is absolutely true. This place is so quaint that my wife fell in love with it the moment she opened the door. The location is great and one can walk to Rialto in about 4 minutes at a brisk pace, but one wrong turn and it could take considerably longer. The walk to St Marks is...

This wonderful B&B is located within short walking distance to Rialto Bridge. It was very clean and comfy in all ways. We were lucky to stay in top floor room with private terrace, which made our days in sunny Venice even better! Breakfast was served on the terrace - what a great start of the day! Comfortable beds and bathroom...

Our experience with this B&B started with good directions on how to get there. The room was quite, extremely well renovated and clean and very well located. Staff was very helpful. We won't even think of another place to stay next time we go to Venice!

This was a great B&B in Venice. Very close to the water taxi stop and not too difficult to find. The staff was very helpful with suggestions of what to see and restaurant recommendations that THEY go to. Our room was very nice, good size, nice bathroom and ours had a private rooftop terrace which was a bonus. We had...

We loved our stay here, incredible, beautiful, peaceful, staff was so kind and helpful. When we arrived at the train station i realized we did not print the last page of our reservation information with the map! I called the hotel from the train station and the woman at the desk where to go, she told me which water trolley...

Staying in San Polo

Neighbourhood Profile
San Polo
The Rialto Bridge is the most famous sight along the Grand Canal in San Polo, smallest of Venice's six sestieri (districts) and by far the busiest neighbourhood. Morning Venetians arrive to peruse the markets for fish, fruit and vegetables, while shops display goods from cheese to wine to desserts. San Silvestro and Rialto Market vaporetto (water taxi) stops add to the steady stream of foot traffic. San Polo is defined by churches including Basilica dei Frari, one of the most important churches sought by art lovers.
