Fantastic hotel staffed by the nicest, most accommodating people ever. The only downside was the hardness of the beds - these Venetians must be tough! Or used to sleeping in cells.
But fair play, one mention and a padded matress cover was provided but still...More
I stayed at the Hotel Al Ponte Mocenigo at the end of November for 3 nights with my family. The hotel is small and charming and is easily found from the Vaperatto, down a narrow alley. On arrival we were given a warm welcome by...More
I enjoyed staying at the Al Ponte Mocenigo. Walter is amazingly nice, the whole staff couldn't have been nicer to my family. They make the place what it is! Breakfast was very nice as well. But I have a few reservations, also:

we stayed here for 5 nights and enjoyed a great fresh choice for breakfast; fruit, cereals, rolls, croissants, jams, juices, yoghurts.
Our room was perfect, warm, quiet and spotlessly clean. All the staff we met were friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about the area. Bed was...More
We based our room selection off of photos seen on tripadvisor. We opted for the room with the balcony view over the canal. The hotel is within very close walking range to the San Stae water bus stop. We arrived early and were able to...More

The Rialto Bridge is the most famous sight along the Grand Canal in San Polo, smallest of Venice's six sestieri (districts) and by far the busiest neighbourhood. Morning Venetians arrive to peruse the markets for fish, fruit and vegetables, while shops display goods from cheese to wine to desserts. San Silvestro and Rialto Market vaporetto (water taxi) stops add to the steady stream of foot traffic. San
Polo is defined by churches including Basilica dei Frari, one of the most important churches sought by art lovers.

We stayed in the annex it was great. Can't comment on any other rooms as we didn't see any. Ours was room 44. It was huge and overlooking a canal which was nice. It was a quiet canal, don't remember seeing any gondolas on it but it was nice, there were definitely a few boats moving around on it. We loved room 44.

Hi, I am unsure of this as it was only my girlfriend and myself staying there. If you ring the Hotel then I'm sure they will help. The staff speak excellent English, are very helpful and I'm sure they will accommodate your needs. If you take a water taxi then you need the San stae stop, when dropped off from the taxi bare left and the hotel is about a minute walk down a narrow street. Great place!
