Great location, 4 steps from airport taxi to lobby!! Warm and welcoming arrival and cosy (but large) room. The breakfast was excellent. Short walk through a non-touristy area to Rialto and San Marco. Stored bags all day before our flight. Eveyone at the hotel was...More
We stayed at the hotel in a very hot June and would thoroughly recommend it. The room was small (as every room in venice is), but full of character and really nicely done. We also had a great view out over the lagoon. Breakfasts were...More
I, my wife, daughter and my daughter’s friend stayed in two for the lagoon facing rooms over the week of Thanksgiving. We picked the Hotel Vecellio because of the good reviews on Trip Advisor. We were not disappointed.

What can I say!
Just come back last night from 4 nights at the Vecellio.
Our room faced the Lagoon and though as per previous reviews the bathroom was small, it was not a problem, we do not spend our holidays in the bathroom!

Hi you can buy tickets for the bus at the airport, the bus will be right outside the terminal as the airport is so small. The bus takes you to the bus station and then you simply walk into venice itself. We got tickets for the bus from the plane staff, Ryan air. just buy a single and then when you get to the bus station to be dropped off there are signs with all the return to airport times, you just buy another ticket when you want to return. Hope this helps, and have a great time. Use the water buses too, much cheaper and loads of fun,
