Great location. Just had to ask a local for directions but generally as easy to find as anywhere else in Venice. Yes there were lots of stairs , but it’s Italy! We had the room right at the top with a view and lots of...More
This hotel is very near the Rialto Fish Market and very centrally located to everything in Venice! Beware if you have issues with stairs, there are none in this hotel and we were on the top floor! But our room did have a small view...More
The location was good room was spacious enough for two but quite dark I must say. We like the climat of the hotel a bit old with some shabby chic furnitures

The Locanda is down a small street, near Rialto market. I can understand why some might find it difficult to locate but all of Venice can be quite hard to navigate and we did find it quite easily using the directions from the website. It's...More
I book the hotel through my agent
The location is perfect, but overall I was not happy with the hotel.

Dear guest, sorry for this review, but for reporting it is fair to tell the only real problem that told us on the day of your stay ... that is the will at all costs air conditioning with 10 degrees outside! !! it has incredible...More
The Rialto Bridge is the most famous sight along the Grand Canal in San Polo, smallest of Venice's six sestieri (districts) and by far the busiest neighbourhood. Morning Venetians arrive to peruse the markets for fish, fruit and vegetables, while shops display goods from cheese to wine to desserts. San Silvestro and Rialto Market vaporetto (water taxi) stops add to the steady stream of foot traffic. San
Polo is defined by churches including Basilica dei Frari, one of the most important churches sought by art lovers.

Congratulations on the honeymoon! Couldn't pick a nicer place than Venice. I don't remember our room number, but as already answered, Maurizio or his staff would be able to help you. They are wonderful hosts and I'm sure will take very good care of you. Our room didn't overlook the canal, but it was still extremely enjoyable. Be sure and take a gondola ride - and happy honeymoon!
