The hotel is well located, at a walking distance to San Marco. The family rooms is not big though. Breakfast is served in a tiny dining room that hardly offer space for the guests, who have to wait for free tables.
From the moment we walked into our room and smelt the musty, dank smell, I knew we had made a big mistake. We stayed for three nights. Our bed was made each day but that's about it. The room fridge didn't work and when I...More
This is a quaint hotel in the heart of the San Polo district. The couple that runs the hotel are very helpful with directions, sugestions on where to go and what to see. Their breakfast is not the best we had on our 29 day...More

The Rialto Bridge is the most famous sight along the Grand Canal in San Polo, smallest of Venice's six sestieri (districts) and by far the busiest neighbourhood. Morning Venetians arrive to peruse the markets for fish, fruit and vegetables, while shops display goods from cheese to wine to desserts. San Silvestro and Rialto Market vaporetto (water taxi) stops add to the steady stream of foot traffic. San
Polo is defined by churches including Basilica dei Frari, one of the most important churches sought by art lovers.
