Hotel Molino Stucky is a beautiful hotel and we had a lovely time. Children loved the rooftop pool and sunbathing facilities at the pool were fabulous with stunning views over the city. Breakfast was amazing and staff were very kind and friendly. Water taxi to San Marco is very regular. My only small criticism is that guests should not have to pay extra for WiFi. Hotel is expensive enough.
The hotel is beautiful and located right on guidecca island just a boat ride from the main island away from the crowds.Room was a bid old but clean and comfortable with a great view of the water and the city. Our room had access to the executive lounge, however, this opens from 12-7 .Fantastic breakfast buffet style ,fresh orange juice and great coffee.A plus service.Excellent and professional staff .Amazing views from the pool but pool doesn’t open everyday. There is a restaurant on the main floor but food is mediocre. Shuttle boat to San Marcos island is a bonus. If you are coming here from Santa Lucia train station.take the ferry that comes to guidecca island the ferry stops at the molino stucky and it’s only 15 minutes ride also inexpensive .or you can go to San Marco and take the hotel shuttle but is longer about two hours .. the Red Cross comes to your room and do the covid test very easy so you don’t have to worry about that . I love the private feeling of this location near to all but away from the madness of the city .…
Mold in the shower, low water pressure, slow draining sink, broken door hook for bath robe etc. We stayed for 4 nights and complained the first day but nobody cared to fix it. The executive lounge is a joke as everybody seems to use it to grab a free drink etc. People just wait the access door opens and walk in. Must be the Italien way!
Very well run Hilton. The entire staff was friendly, professional and helpful. They all spoke English, which was great. A short water taxi to San Marcos Square, great local eateries walking distance to the hotel. Great roof top pool and bar. The buffet breakfast was wonderful. Special note for Anna and Natasha for great customer service. Up in the Sky lounge Marita and Eduardo went out of their to make we got the special cocktails we were seeking! Excellent experience.
It’s a nice hotel in an historic building. The physical plant itself is well maintained. Rooms are quiet and spacious. Staff is friendly and professional especially the concierge. Room cleaning was hit or Miss but they followed up quickly when we called about it. It’s located away from the main area but the shuttle makes it easy to get to town and back.
Large Hotel room, without many sockets (superior twin room not renovated). Rooms are not soundproof. Was able to hear the music from the pool bar until 11pm daily. Good breakfast, but it was not updated throughout the stay which makes it predictable.
Pros: - Rooms were beautiful and very comfortable - Amazing rooftop bar and pool - Incredible free breakfast - Beautiful waterfront location with amazing water views from rooms Cons: - Shuttle from Venice somewhat inconvenient, runs on a 30 minute schedule - Towels seem to be rationed out, not reflective of multiple showers per day people take in summer heat Would stay again for sure next time in Venice, doubt very much there is another hotel of this quality in Venice itself
We stayed here for 3 nights in June. We used points to book and were upgraded to a Molino Suite due to diamond status. The check in area is quite small and it took a while to get through the line. Our room was huge and at the end of the hall. It was serviced twice a day which felt very luxurious. Our suite seemed to be recently refreshed/renovated since everything felt completely new. The hotel feels large and has many restaurants, but it didn't seem that crowded. We used the hotel shuttle boat exclusively to leave Giudecca. We never used the other transportation options. We rarely waited very long and found the shuttle to be convenient. In the evenings, it stops in Zatterre which is right across the water from the hotel. We ate dinner there to avoid the crowds in other places. The breakfast buffet is really good but it gets crowded. I would try to go early. There's free flowing prosecco and juices too. The executive lounge was good for quick snacks and drinks. The happy hour got a little crowded and it seemed like the staff couldn't keep up with the cleaning. The lounge is a sectioned off part of the lobby and it would be nice to have an outdoor patio or something to enjoy the view of the water. One day we booked the complimentary Murano glass tour through the hotel. They get you a private water taxi and it's a great way to see Venice. There were lots of people doing the tour but they weren't from our hotel. There was no pressure to buy anything and the glass art was really amazing. The glass factory will pay your taxi to go back to the hotel, or to San Marco, or to Burano. It was a nice little excursion. I really loved this hotel and didn't want to leave it. The staff were all so nice and helpful.…
Came to celebrate my 40th birthday & wow it’s been unforgettable! The hotel were kind enough to provide an upgrade for the occasion & the executive lounge was always stocked with snacks & drinks. Happy hour is 5-7pm & included wine/Prosecco/aperol & sandwiches/cheese/soups. The rooftop pool is beyond stunning-chilled vibes & cool water with an unbeatable view. It felt like a bikini holiday & city break all in one! There is a Hilton water boat every 30 mins to main port of Venice so sightseeing was easy & you can regularly hop on & off. Special thanks to Martina on the front desk who went out of her way to assist us throughout our stay. We hope to come back soon!
This is one of the best, sort of out of the way from the main part of Venice but they run a water taxi every thirty minutes to St Marco Square....perfect. It was an old Flour mill converted into a 4-star hotel with helpful and friendly service. Breakfast was splendid and had large choices to pick from. Rooms were large and clean. Being a Damond I used the Executive Lounge, it is bad and I was let down, poor selection of appetizers which means a lot to Honors people who we noticed walking in looking and walking out... Wise up management.
