On the banks of Giudecca Island, a thriving artistic center of Venice, stands a modern Venetian Masterpiece. The Molino Stucky, once a flourishing flour mill, is now internationally recognized as one of Italy’s iconic pieces of industrial architecture. Beautifully restored, it now houses a hotel unlike any other, offering a unique view of Venice. A bold statement, with 379 rooms and suites, the hotel manages to balance intimacy with scale. A place of comforting guest bedrooms and unrivaled restaurants, ballrooms and meeting areas. Guests enjoy the best of both worlds. A short, five-minute boat ride from the heart of Venice, Giudecca Island provides peaceful respite from the intensity of the city and is exceptionally well served by easy access to the airport and rail station. If all this isn’t enough then there is the largest spa in Venice, outstanding service, fine dining, rooftop pool and bar with breath-taking views over the city and shuttle service.

Nestled in a tranquil spot with breathtaking views, the Hilton Molino Stucky Venice garners acclaim for its serene location and convenient transport options, though guests occasionally mention longer waits for water taxis. The service at the hotel earns high marks for the accommodating staff and prompt shuttle service, enhancing the elegant and stylish atmosphere that permeates the property. While the rooms are celebrated for their cleanliness and aesthetics, some visitors note their compact size and occasional maintenance concerns. Amenities like the shuttle are well-received, but suggestions have been made to refine the Executive Lounge and breakfast experience. Opinions on value are divided, with some guests feeling that costs for certain services are steep, despite the enjoyable breakfast.

We booked a short notice stay at this stunning imposing hotel as we had been recommended it.
The location is perfect if you want to be slightly away from the throng of noisy tourists.
The hotels shuttle boat provides access to St Marco every 30 minutes to late at night and for a very reasonable charge you can use it as many times as you like. On one day alone we went on the shuttle 6 times !
The hotel has had a refurbishment in many rooms and they are luxurious and comfortable.
I spent many hours watching the breathtaking view from our 5th floor tower canal window.
The VIP lounge next to the reception desk is a great addition and offers lovely cheeses and snacks in the late afternoon.
The team at breakfast were warm and welcoming and the reception team were engaging, professional and went above and beyond to support our onward travel plans.
The rooftop pool is calm and relaxing and a true retreat away from the busy streets of Venice.
My thanks to Massimiliano and Constance for leading and supporting an incredible team.

Really enjoyed the stay here. The water taxi right outside the hotel is regular and very convenient for a minimal amount, which took us to the main part of Venice. The staff were very accommodating and catered to our every need. If we were not happy about anything they offered free access to the executive lounge and the Turkish bath/sauna as good gestures to keep us happy. It was my birthday and anniversary and they left flower petals on the bed and a cake saying happy birthday and 2 bottles of Bellini in the room when we arrived.
Only down side is that the walls are thin and if you get any loud people next door, you can hear them talking. Apart from that I will definitely come back here

My wife and I have been coming to the Hilton Molino Stucky in Venice every year for the best part of a decade to spend two weeks at the Carnivale. I don’t think there’s another Hilton that we visit so frequently or enjoy so much. Why?
The Hilton Molino Stucky stands on three pillars. The first pillar is its great architectural beauty. It’s a very large old mill and it is solidly built. Indeed, it’s almost like staying in a living museum. They have done a great job in converting a factory into a remarkable place to stay; its wooden beams, red bricks, and iron columns are quite amazing. This year we are staying in a newly renovated part that combines the best of the old with modern décor (and the latest technology like lots of USB sockets).
The hotel’s second pillar is its location. The Hilton Molino Stucky is not in the centre of Venice, but on the island of Giudecca, just a short boat trip away (five minutes by the waterbus or ten minutes by the free Hilton shuttle). Giudecca is the “real” Venice and is not so crowded with tourists. It’s great to stroll round and has some excellent restaurants (many of them are used by locals and they are not the tourist traps you find round St. Mark’s Square). Even better, you can come from the airport directly to the Hilton’s front door by the waterbus (we bring a lot of photographic equipment and this is very important).
The third pillar is the hotel’s staff. People here are very friendly and very helpful. Having stayed here many times, we are greeted like family and that does create a great sense of loyalty to the hotel. This year we even got a personal welcome card from Ilio, the General Manager. We also have to congratulate the staff in the breakfast room … they are so helpful.

We booked a vacation package through Delta Vacations for flights to Italy and a long weekend at the Hilton in Venice, which saved a ton of money on accommodations compared to booking separately. The Hilton location is across a canal from the heart of Venice, which offered amazing views and a quieter setting but was still a few minute free shuttle ride to all the main attractions. Highlights include watching boats pass by our canal view window, and a few great canal-side restaurants a short walk from the hotel. We also loved having cocktails at the roof-top bar in the evening. The view from the bar, as well as the roof-top pool were spectacular! We would definitely return to the Hilton for our next Venice visit.

This Hilton was by far the best we’ve ever stayed in. We were in the new part of the hotel, in the premier king room. The room was gorgeous, very spacious with lovely views and sunsets. It was beautifully decorated and spotless - you felt at ease without constantly being reminded of covid.

The hotel sits on Guidecca island, and is walking distance from several great local restaurants and bars. The Hilton has its own private shuttle boat for guests, which runs hourly to San Marco and takes just 15 mins. The roof top pool was absolutely stunning, with 360 degree views of Venice and beyond. At the moment, you have to book an hour slot each day, we recommend you do this at the start of your stay, for the week, then you don’t have to think about it each day. The staff were all very friendly, especially the pool team. Nothing seemed any trouble. We made use of the gym too, which had everything you need to get in a good holiday workout (just missing some music). You don’t need to book on and it was quiet most mornings. One night, we booked drinks at the Skyline bar, seeing the whole of Venice at sunset, topped off our stay!

All in all, this was the perfect hotel for a couples retreat in Venice. We couldn’t fault our stay. We loved it so much, we’re planning to return for our honeymoon in April, after our wedding and honeymoon was postponed this year.

We visited Venice in January 2020, which was a last minute decision to get away for a few days.

If you haven't done it before, a speedboat taxi from the airport to the hotel is a stunning way to start your stay in Venice.

All the staff we encountered at the hotel were very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable, and thankfully their English was a lot better than our Italian.

The Hotel is stunning, we opted for a Junior Suite, which was very nice, spacious and faultless.

The hotel's water taxi to San Marco is efficient, great value and allows for easy access to the hustle and bustle of San Marco from the sanctuary of Giudecca.

The Breakfast was good - seemingly catering for most tastes and cultures, the Skylight bar affords amazing views.

Loved it.

My husband travels for work and uses Hilton so is a diamond member. We booked this trip months ago as I had always wanted to go to Venice. As part of my request I had asked for a quiet room away from elevators etc. When we checked in we were given a room which was right opposite the elevator. They wouldn’t move us as the hotel was fully booked and they didn’t seem to care at all stating the corridors were wide so shouldn’t be a problem. Yes, the corridors were wide but when people came out of the elevator talking loudly it still woke me. Also, our room was right by the jetty so all the boats pulling in were extremely noisy. You don’t like noise don’t pay for a view as it is very noisy. I was so tired, but after two days Elise called and offered to move us. My husband hates moving mid trip due to the packing up so I didn’t think he’d agree, but after Elise showed us the suite they were offering my husband was happy to move and I am grateful as although the room didn’t have the views of Venice but it was large and peaceful. Thank you Elise, if it hadn’t been for this move I would be giving a 1* review now.

Both rooms were newly renovated and large. It was nice they still included a bath as Hilton has tended to renovate rooms and just have a large walk in shower instead of a bath. The rooms were clean and came with a mosquito repellant that you could plug in which was handy.

The breakfast was probably one of the best breakfast spreads I’ve seen at a Hilton and it’s definitely worth paying for. However, the room service was seriously lacking. It was the worst pasta dish that I had in the whole time I was in Venice. The rooftop bar was nice and the selection of alcohol was good. I do have to question whether it’s worth charging €8.50 for tea? I don’t think I’ve ever been charged that much, except the ritz!

The boat service was always on time and I don’t understand why people gripe about the cost as it’s only €10 per person per stay and saves you from having to get the normal water bus ticket with all the added stops.

The last day came and we called as we needed a slightly later check-out of midday rather than 11am but were told a flat no even though the water pressure had gone in the shower for ages so I departed without a shower. Again the front desk didn’t care.

Overall, the service at the front desk really lets this hotel down and we should have never been put in the room we had the first two nights given how long ago we booked and our request for a quiet room. Also, the denied request for a slightly later check-out just added insult to injury, but we weren’t surprised given our previous dealings!

I know that during Covid-19 things are different. However, the overall quality of the rooms, incl. the renovated ones, is just not that great. The executive lounge is a „fenced in hallway“. Expect pre-packed sandwiches like those from a train station vending machine. No napkins and friendly service and the feeling of being welcomed is just not there. The hallways look tired and garbage was laying around for days, also in the corners of the hallway. Where is the Covid cleaning standard? In the room I found hair and dirt from previous guests. So no special cleaning. When you arrive by public boat, you need to cross the section with the portable toilet and the maritim gas station, located right in front of the hotel. When asking the staff about things you need, you get an unfriendly answer. I am a gold member of the Hilton program and I have not experienced something like this before. Outrages! The pool needs to be reserved. (1 hour slots) if they think it is starting to rain thy close it right away. The breakfast is basic and an omelet is charged at €12. Something that would normally be included. No buffet. This place is a complete ripoff. If you are willing to spend some money I suggest to stay at another place.

Just arrived home from a wonderful weekend in Venice staying at the Stucky Hilton. Water is took 1.5hrs from the airport to the hotel door (27 euros pp round trip) and run every 30 mins...hotel also has a shuttle bus every 30 mins to get to the mainland (8 euros pp for duration of stay) and last water shuttle back is around 11.30pm. Hotel was amazing. All the staff were very helpful and cheerful. The breakfast buffet was brilliant...and you can ask for omelette, fried eggs etc made to order at no extra cost. We were upgraded to a premier double which was very luxurious and quite spacious. Would definitely recommend and would stay here again.

The building which was Molino Stucky is an outstanding large building at the end of the Guidecca.
The renovation to make it into a Hilton has been a diseaster- it has become a soulless big American hotel, without retaining much of its history or its role in Venetian life.
My experience over 5 days at an International Bar Association conference was terrible.
My wife was not able to join me so I asked for a down grade- no sir we only do upgrades !
The first 2 rooms I was shown were terrible - a connecting door which would not close noise from the next room was like being in it!!
On my first night in my third room I enjoyed steaming hot water from both the hot and cold taps!!
On my third night the door frame fell off the door hitting me on the head
It is expensive and it is a big soulless America hotel
Do not stay there

Sorry I missed the question - there’s really only one huge car park in Venice - Tronchetto - you would leave your car there and take a water taxi. It’s not very far.

It takes about 10 mins. It’s not far at all and only stop at 2 places. The hotel shuttle is very regular and starts early and goes on very late.
