After booking this place via British Airways website, we were surprised to discover the hotel had so many bad reviews on this website and just to avoid any surprises we called the hotel asking for the usual: a quiet room on an upper floor away...More
The service is pretty much what you could expect from Venetian hotels, not bad but not great.
Our room was dark with zero natural light from outside and the air conditioning for the building was switched off due to some or other Venetian law. Took...More

Dear Customer, we are really sorry about your review. In the hotel there is still heating on and we cannot have air conditioning and heating on at the same moments. Air conditioning is also not allowed in spring but just in summer. A better results...More
We got a good price for this hotel so I was expecting it to be less than perfect, but it far exceeded expectations. Our room for three was opulent and very spacious, the breakfast selection was fantastic, staff went out of their way to be...More
Good service; spacious suite. Jacuzzi tub and nice shower. Breakfast offerings are substantial and nice dining area. The front desk staff were helpful, and gave us two wake up calls and helped with luggage at 3 am.

We stayed here by happenstance as our booked hotel was full. What a happy accident.
The room was large with a pleasant aspect. The en suite facilities were more generous than most. Clean. The traditional Venetian glass chandelier was ubiquitous, and caused much hilarity as...More

The most famous sestiere (district) in Venice has one of the world's most famous squares, St. Mark's (Piazza San Marco). Anchored on one end by the basilica, clustered around it are restaurants, museums, shops, orchestras playing in the square, pigeons, the grand pink Doge’s Palace (Palazzo Ducale), the soaring campanile bell tower, an astrological clock tower, plus gorgeous cafes and restaurants like Florian and
Quadri. Piazza San Marco is beloved by Venetians themselves. They book a table anytime, which offers a buffer from the fray. This grand outdoor drawing room attracts Venetians for a stroll too, especially late in the afternoon when the hoards of daytrippers thin out. It's simply a grand place to meet.
