at the end you did not get what you expect. It is well located, two minutes from the Arena. Room was clean, renewed..nothing to complaint. It was noisy because music (very high volume) from a bar close to the hotel (they stop at midnight) but that's not an hotel responsibility. Breakfast ..below the average for a 4 stars hotel. It...

Nice hotel in very quiet by-road, 3 min. walk to Piazza Bra. Extremely nice and helpful staff. Good beds with good mattresses. Small and pricy garage.

We arrived in Verona by train and took the bus to Piazza Bra (Bus No 11 / 12 or 14) the hotel is situated across the road from the bus stop through an arch left of McDondalds. It is just outside the old city gate a few metres from Piazza Bra and the amphitheatre - great location. Verona is a...

This hotel excels in many ways: the location is perfect (a two minute walk to the arena, a fifteen minute walk from the station), the staff are very friendly and helpful, and the rooms are very clean and spacious. We had everything we needed and when we made special requests, such as extra pillows, the staff were very forthcoming. There...

Booked this venue for 7 nights whilst we were travelling through northern Italy just before Easter. Arrived in Verona by train and headed off to the city centre without a map of the city. Eventually found the tourist information centre off Piazza Bra and identified the street in which the hotel is located. Street numbering system is very confusing and...

This hotel was nothing fancy, but it was clean and comfortable. And wi-fi was a plus. The staff were helpful and provided a good recommendation for dinner. The location was great, right at the gate of the old town. I had no complaints.

We had a great 3 night stay here. The hotel is just outside the city walls, 3 mins from the Arena and 8 from the main Piazza dell Erbe. It's well decorated and the staff are very freindly, speaking good English if necessary. Rooms are generous and well equipped. Breakfast was good, with a wide choice from the buffet. Couldn't...

The San Luca is in an excellent location for all the sights in this city. It has recently been refurbished. The rooms and bathrooms are very pleasant, comfortable and spotlessly clean. The staff we came into contact with are all very helpful and proficient in the English language. The European style buffet breakfast was excellent with plenty of choices, seved...

We booked a trip to Italy and some tickets to the opera 'Aida' in Verona in June 2011. Hotels can be difficult to source in Verona during the opera festival (especially a half decent one that is located closely to the centre) but we really hit lucky online and got a booking for Hotel San Luca for 2 nights. It's...

I really liked this place. Very simple, nothing fancy, but friendly and helpful staff, very clean rooms (better than expected for the price), the breakfast was nice (without being amazing) and location perfect, at the gate of the old town, but not on the touristic sector.
