My wife and I stayed here for one night and found the place just about perfect for our needs. We knew going in that it wasn't a five star property based on the rate we were paying, but we were only concerned with having a decent place to stay for the night. We found the front desk staff to be...

I stayed with my partner at Hotel Torcolo in Verona for two nights. Having been in Venice beforehand and been a bit disappointed by the hotel there, I was pleasantly surprised by place. We stayed in room number 34 on the top floor. It was an ensuite room with a king size bed, TV, minibar and air con, which we...

My husband and I spent two nights at the Hotel Torcolo in May. As reported in other reviews, the location of the hotel is terrific, just steps away from the main square and the amphitheater. Our double room was of moderate but adequate size and quite comfortable except that the lighting was very dim, a definite drawback for those who...

The Hotel Torcolo is charming, comfortable, well priced, and fabulously located. We enjoyed our stay there very much, and Verona is marvellous. Our room at the Torcolo had one of those unusual European bathrooms--the shower was separate from the bathroom and opened right into the room--but unlike some other places we stayed the shower was roomy and they have big...

Quick overview: Just spent 22 days (April 9-30) in Italy as a single traveler: I stayed in 12 hotels priced from 50 to 80 Eur/night. I looked long and hard on the Internet to find the best hotels I could afford. In general, most of them are better than “budget/backpacker” hotels and you get great value for your buck: I...

A very nice, clean hotel, with all the facilities that you might need. The central location is ideal for exploring Verona, and the trip from the station is easily manageable on foot or by taxi. Breakfast is basic, but overall, we could not fault the hotel for a city break

Pros: This hotel excels in its location for the price. Service from any one of the day staff is of very high quality. Cons: It is kind of average in its design and aesthetic value, but sufficiently comfortable. The gentleman that worked the evening shift was far from helpful. Overall, a very positive experience. I would definately stay here again.

Small place but more than decent. Our room was large enough and the bed was very confortable. The staff is very kind and helpful. Two days in Verona are enough but if we will be back we willl stay here again

Our first stop in Italy - after a long journey from North America. Very friendly & helpful staff, large clean room, furnished and decorated in traditional fashion - a fresco of angels above our bed, beaded fringe on the lampshades, and of course shutters on the windows! Lots of umbrellas for guests - appreciated, as we arrived in the rain....
