Just this weekend I stayed for the second time in this splendid Boutiquehotel and in my opinion it is once again among the best hotels in Cagliari. We booked the Fanny Executive suite, a spacious and sophisticated design suite equipped with every cutting-edge comfort and luxury. The hotel deserves a lot for the furnishings, the meticulous attention to every detail, the deep cleanliness of the rooms and the skill with which they managed to blend the period style with contemporary touches. All the staff are very kind, polite and helpful. The breakfast buffet is very rich and of high quality. The structure has a large and wonderful garden full of very beautiful plants and flowers. Villa Fanny reaches its maximum splendor in the summer and Christmas period. The hotel is located in a very beautiful and quiet neighborhood a few steps from the center of Cagliari. I would conclude by saying that the Hotel Villa Fanny is suitable for very demanding customers, who are looking for a charming hotel to relax

Lovely quiet boutique-style hotel that had amazing service. The staff were friendly, attentive , helpful and treated us superbly throughout our stay. I have stayed in numerous hotels throughout the world - this was by far the best in terms of how helpful and friendly they were. Made us feel very welcome. A special thanks to Marco for being so accommodating to our room requests and organising welcome drinks and snacks.

The location itself is about ten/fifteen minutes away from the main restaurants and shops. You have to walk about half an hour to see the main sites - wear trainers / comfortable shoes as there is a lot of walking and doing this in 30 degrees heat can be difficult if you’re not used to the weather.

I had an exceptional stay at Villa Fanny, it's a hotel I'd hurriedly go back to. The hotel is beautiful, with thought-out decor gracing every sqm.

ALL the staff were friendly, accommodating and professional at all times. The reception and waiting staff spoke good English and were always helpful.

The cleaners did an excellent job in our room & all public areas. The cleaners I encountered only spoke Italian, but we were able to communicate with one another.

I loved our bedroom! It was huge with lots of storage, quiet and had a really comfortable bed. The shower room was stunning with a good range of toiletries. The only thing I'd change is the strength of the wifi.

There was an array of options for the breakfast buffet, which was served with hot drinks of your choice and a variety of juices and water.

The bar and garden are pleasant additions to an already beautiful hotel.

An ideal location for exploring and eating in Cagliari, this hotel was worth every pound.

Wow!
Villa hotel fanny must be one of the best boutique hotels we have stayed in and we have stayed in lots over the years including many 5 stars. On arrival our room was not ready but the staff did all they could to accommodate us, our room exceeded expectations and the breakfast were superb - such a relaxing setting to sit and enjoy before heading out for the day.
The Staff really make this place, they go the extra mile to ensure your stay is up there amongst the best. They made several recommendations for dinner, all of which were within a 5 minute walk - you always know its a good one when it is frequented by the locals.
The location, the venue, the Staff, Cagliari itself you were superb and we have already booked our return stay!

My wife and I enjoyed 3 nights at this lovely hotel. On arrival the team were very friendly, the check in process is as quick and efficient as I have seen. Then we come to the highlight the rooms, we stayed in the Fanny Suite and it is out of this world. Two floors spacious, artistic with a back drop of authentic old style bricks a lovely shaped staircase up to a superb bed. We have never stayed in a room with it’s own Sauna but what a treat. This is the place for you if you just want to relax for a couple of days with your own thoughts. The decor through the hotel is beautiful with the bar having some black and white photos of film stars and the garden beautifully lit up by the trees at night. I highly recommend a cocktail in the evening at 10 euros a drink they are not cheap but not as expensive as most 4 or 5 star hotels and you get some lovely nibbles to accompany them. I can certainly vouch for the sidecar being well made and enjoyable to drink. The breakfast is also amazing cooked well, generous portions with high quality ingredients (both the fruit plate and the cheese and cold meat selections are musts).

There are some downsides to this hotel that will put people off, there is no lunch or dinner restaurant service and no room service so you have to go out to eat properly, there is no swimming pool and whilst the gardens are lovely there is only 2 sun beds. The location is 10 to 15 minutes walk from the port and all the bar/restaurant scene and the walk to them is downhill meaning you are walking uphill to get home. All that said the peace, tranquility, cleanliness and comfort you have when you walk through the doors means this hotel can get nothing but 5 stars from me and if you can afford to stay at the fanny suite, please do you will be wow’ed!

A sophisticated & classy boutique hotel. Nice art works and furnishings throughout.

I had a large room on the ground floor with high wood panel ceilings and a comfortable big bed with both soft & hard pillows.

Big size bathroom with large walk in shower and good amenities.

There was TV but no English channels even though there should have been some. One of the reception staff was to reprogram the TV but during my three day stay this never happened. Wifi was good throughout the property.

The breakfast had a good selection of hot & cold food which was all very fresh. Had dinner at the hotel which was also very good. The bar and wait staff were great, friendly & very helpful.

The hotel is very popular for functions & there was one on every night I was at the hotel.

It’s a very nice hotel and a great place to stay in the city.

We had a wonderful two day stay at Hotel Fanny with our family. It is an easy 20 minute drive from the airport and in an excellent location to walk to the historical sites and to many excellent restaurants. Street parking was available. The hotel has a lovely garden and very nice rooms, but the best part about the hotel is the wonderful and very helpful staff. Claudia was one of the excellent receptionists who gave us information about what to visit and directed us to some very good restaurants plus made reservations for us. I highly recommend Hotel Fanny when planning a visit to Cagliari.

What a gem of a hotel - Lovely setting, friendly staff and comfortable rooms in a great location. What more can you ask from a City hotel?
Breakfast was the most comprehensive I have seen for a long time and a big thanks to the bar server ( sorry - I cant remember her name) who was so knowledgeable about Sardinian wines I could happily have spend the evening drinking it. She is an asset to the Hotel - next time I will take up the wine tour she mentioned.
Comfy beds and air conditioning. Parking can be luck of the draw but plenty of side street nearby and so easy to get to the airport from there.

Was here 3 nights. The staff was pleasant and breakfast was ok. My room was decorated nicely but the first night the fan in the air conditioner wasn’t working; the room was hot and smelled like a dank basement. It was so damp in the room that the Kleenex in the bathroom was even damp. After complaining, they brought a portable air conditioner that brought the temp down a bit but it was still too warm and difficult to sleep. The next day they fixed not only the air conditioner fan but also an outlet that didn’t work.
It’s a pretty enough hotel but there’s not much around it. Be prepared to walk more than 15 to get to anything.

We stayed at Villa Fanny for a few nights in June and would recommend as a base to explore the city of Cagliari. The rooms were very comfortable and staff always keen to assist. Breakfast was excellent with a wide range of food and also possible to order eggs, omelette, etc. Only downside was that there was no hotel parking only outside parking on the street but this was free.

Overall a wonderful stay and hope to return in the future

Hi. They don't all have a terrace or balcony. There is a beach called Poetto but not within walking distance to the best of my knowledge. Contact the hotel directly. They are extremely professional.
