I spent 5 days in Cagliari for a work conference. I made the booking together with a colleague a few months before and immediately had to deal with two super hosts, Messrs. Mauro and Lorenzo, who proved to be super helpful in the "practices" that business trips require (such as request for a registered quote). Upon our arrival we carried out the self check-in with the code sent to us by message after having conveniently reached the b&b on foot. It is in fact located in a super central area, well connected and not too far from the station. Furthermore, nearby (I'm talking about a 2/3 minute walk) there are plenty of restaurants/pizzerias/clubs of all kinds, some of which offer Sardinian cuisine (super convenient for those who want to get to know the typical flavours). But returning to the b&b, the "wood mixed with sea" furniture makes it very welcoming, as well as spaces for book sharing, a large selection of herbal teas, fresh pastries available to the guest, coffee, and all the comforts that pamper a person returning from a trip. It is organized on two floors, each of which has a common area (where the comforts just described are located) and 4 bedrooms each with its own bathroom, both really spacious! Breakfast is served on the second floor, the time of which is agreed upon directly with the hosts. Tip: show up very hungry! From fruit to tiramisu, through yogurt with dried fruit and bread with goat butter and honey, a spectacle! (Obviously for those who prefer savory food, it can be had without problems). Once you leave, the rooms are tidied from top to bottom, the bathroom washed and the towels changed every day. What to say? A 5 star B&B! Super recommended both for those who want to visit Cagliari (given the location) and for those, like me, who are traveling for work.

Mauro and Lorenzo are very welcoming, thoughtful and helpful far beyond my expectations. The structure is well looked after and tastefully furnished with pieces of local craftsmanship both in the common areas and in my room. My room is spacious. When I arrived my room was clean and I liked that they continued to clean it carefully every day of my stay (which was not at all a given). Top freshly prepared breakfast including fresh fruit and local products. The location is also strategic. I highly recommend this property!

...yes, because returning to this facility is like returning home. The location is simply perfect, Marina district, close to everything that can be useful for visiting a fascinating city. Spotlessly clean, functional, welcoming rooms equipped with the necessary comforts and services, and then Mauro and Lorenzo, exceptional people, empathetic, professional, serene and truly passionate about what they do; always available to give you advice on places to eat, have an aperitif, an ice cream, the right beach based on the weather conditions, means of transport and so on. Finally, breakfast: a true triumph of authenticity, with food prepared by them, excellent raw materials, sweets, savory, fruit, juices and other local delicacies. Returned this year for the third time, and it won't be the last!!

The B&B is in a prime location, you are right in the center or at the port. The rooms are super clean, modern and welcoming. There is a tea kitchen which is offered for free, water for free and a fridge with soft drinks, beer and wine based on trust. Breakfast is served by the owners Mauro and Lorenzo themselves, is varied and every day there is a new selection. We were granted all wishes. Best B&B !!!

Such a brilliant place to stay in central Cagliari.
Location: Very easy to get to from the airport and easy to get around town and to the beach by bus.

Accommodation: big clean comfortable rooms with small balconies, en-suite and air conditioning. Daily cleaning is amazing.
You have everything you need for a day at the beach to borrow too.
Breakfast is incredible and varied, including local specialties and also catering for gluten free/vegan.
24 hour tea station was very much appreciated!
One small thing that could be better is to provide shampoo in the rooms :)

staff: so helpful and friendly, offer great advice for everything you need.

When in Cagliari, I keep coming back to this wonderful B&B…
One can say that Cagliari is full of various possibilities to stay but, perhaps, we want to come back to the places that makes us feel being at home, even away from home. It is not often to find so much hospitality and warm atmosphere that one can find entering in il Cagliarese, where from the first minute guest is being surrounded by the full attention and care coming from the owners of the place. This time I have invited my friends to share with me the experience of staying at Cagliarese, and I can proudly say that also this time the owners of the place did not fail to satisfy my expectations. My friends remained very happy with my choice of B&B and I was not surprised at all.
Rooms are very clean as always, amazing breakfast in the morning tailored to everyone’s request, attention to every small detail throughout the stay and finally, privacy and very quiet atmosphere in the evening, that this BB assures to the guests. Not only we had a breakfast in the morning but we could enjoy the various teas with the snacks left by the owners in the kitchen for the comfort evenings of the guests in the common dining room.
And even the weather was not as good as we expected this weekend, nothing could spoil the time we have had with the friends thanks to the warm cosy “house” we have found in Cagliari.
Simply thanks for the ability to make the travellers feel at home away from home!
And see you soon, my favourite place in Cagliari !
So,

Hospitality, competence and availability on the part of the managers were very satisfactory, the breakfast was very well prepared and of excellent quality, cleanliness and location, all excellent.
Great advice for restaurants and sightseeing.
Pedestrians can find parking lots in the central area without difficulty.
Even points of interest within walking distance.
Experience to be repeated.

Very clean and cuckoo. Spectacular, hearty and different breakfasts every day. Boys are super nice and professional. They've had it a lot. They explain things to you, help you with your bags and recommend you to visit and where to go for lunch or dinner. It is very well located and you can not hear noises so you rest very well.

Il Calliarese was great, check-in straightforward, it is in the city centre and a hundred metres from the bus to Poetto beach, the buses were easy to work. The room was ideal and kept spotlessly clean. The hosts were very helpful with suggestions for activities and spoke English well. The breakfasts were very good.
The train network is good, and we did day trips to other locations.

A wonderful stay! Friendly, helpful staff, a very comfortable room and a delicious breakfast each morning with freshly squeezed orange juice, your choice of good strong coffee and beautiful breads and baked goods and creamy scrambled eggs. The location is great for walking to museums, shops, bars and restaurants, and the waterfront. The proprietors were especially helpful with recommendations for places to see in the city.
