This is a great location to stay in Catania, walking distance to the Giardino Bellini Park. Etnea has plenty of shops along the way, a 20 min walk to the Basilica Cathedral of Catania. The accommodation itself is very clean and comfortable, basic but very reasonably priced. The breakfast was basic but good strong coffee. What really makes this place is the staff, Anderson was so helpful, recommending us local places to eat and directions to the attractions. We had to disturb him late in the evening to re-arrange our Taxi to the airport, as we had to change our flights. He has been so helpful and we really appreciated that. I would definitely recommend this as a place to stay

A very nice hotel, new, clean and beautiful. The location is perfect, close to every attraction in the area and lots of good restaurants and bars. Andreas took care of us when we arrived early in the morning at the hotel after a flight. I highly recommend the hotel. Simply perfect, I did not find even one drawback

By far, Catania is not my favorite place in Sicily, but Etnea454 is one of my favorite places stay on the island. The staff is terrific, rooms modern and well appointed, location is walkable to central bus station, botanical garden, business district, and restaurants. If you prefer to use public transportation, there is a stop down the block. If you're traveling to Taormina, purchase your ticket the day before and catch the bus right outside the hotel. There is a nice breakfast of pastries, fresh fruits, meats, cheeses, eggs, breads etc. For pastry lovers, Etnea 454 is just an 8-minute walk to Pasticceria Ficarro Luigi on Via Umberto. Yum! Yum! Yum! When leaving the hotel, look to the right and you'll catch an amazing view of Mt. Etna.

Stayed here two nights on a recent trip to Catania. The hotel is refurbished, modern style, just immaculate, and a good value. Close to the historic center and a short easy walk to the central bus station, a bus stop is close to the hotel if you prefer to ride. But as always what really makes a hotel special is the staff, and Anderson, the manager doesn't disappoint. Friendly and cheerful he is ready to help with all requests. If I returned to Catania, I would definitely book a room at Etnea 454. On important note, the front desk is not covered 24/7, so call in advance to make arrangements for your check in.

First of all thanks Mr. Anderson as a manager there. Very helpful and hosting gentleman. Positives + best location of the city. No need taxi at all just few minutes to everywhere. Highly recommend the place. + breakfast enough and fresh and clean. Every single day. We were here 4 nights and we are so satisfied. + hotel is cozy and suitable for couples. Rooms clean and wifi was awesome. To long story short, u can enjoy this place as a best choice jn catania.

After arriving at nighttime to Catania we decided to book one night at this small hotel located in Catania center All the experience was great, it was a cosi small B&B with a really comfortable room and a good breakfast. Very clean, good Wi-Fi One negative point was the difficulty to park our car but after looking around we find a place nearby in the street.

From our first encounter with this establishment with booking a room to our checkout we were incredibly impressed by how attentive they were to us. Our questions by email were responded to within a couple of hours. Our checkin was smooth and efficient and the front desk clerk quite kind. We arrived early and were allowed to store our bags and go out to explore the city while we waited on our room to be ready. When we arrived back, our bags had been placed in our room for us. Our room itself was quite spacious and had a king size bed with a very comfortable mattress and pillows. The air conditioner worked well and the shower was very nice with plenty of hot water. There was a small refrigerator as well as a safe (if I remember correctly; it’s been a long day traveling back home). The breakfast was very well apportioned with a friendly and kind attendant who made us cappuccino and tea. He was also very considerate in arranging for a taxi to the airport the next morning. This apartment complex is very well situated just north of the main city center with several shops and restaurants within walking distance. A car would definitely not be needed and I’m sure with all of the traffic that there is in the city the locals would appreciate one less car on the streets. Speaking of which, we requested a quiet room and were given one with almost no noise during the night. Overall a very comfortable stay and would definitely recommend this establishment. · Everything was as one hopes: a quiet, comfortable, cool room (it was quite hot out), with excellent beds, really nice products (shampoo, shower gel, etc.), generous and delicious breakfast. But the best thing was Anderson, the warm and interesting man who is at the front desk and makes a good cappuccino too (he does breakfast). He couldn't have been more pleasant, and gave excellent suggestions about practical things (where to park the car) plus culinary things. We enjoyed his company a lot and were always glad to have followed his suggestions. Catania is an interesting and appealing place, and one of the things we liked about it was how much the people who lived there seemed to like it. Anderson was no exception.

Excellent accommodation,very clean, modern interior and exceptional service by Ander and his team. Food and cleaning service 10/10. Ander is always ready to assist and surely exceeds expectations. Accommodation is located in the centre very close to all amenities, shops, cafeterias, market all at a short walking distance.
