Happily we had a big discount for the room at this hotel! Because rooms are very old, doors barely close, minibar contains only water (it's written there "free minibar".Not a surprise). Big balcony is a plus, though it doesn't contain any chairs or anything. Location is central, and quite calm at the same moment, which is a plus also.

We stayed here before a few years back, and it was lovely, so we decided to go back and stay. We felt the hotel was jaded, it needs revamped, very tired looking, the room we has was ok , but the breakfast area is beautiful, to sit outside to eat. The food was good also, but we felt not as...

A spotlessly clean hotel, with a delightful courtyard centre where you may eat meals. This hotel is a great stopover due to Catania being a bustling city, transported to any other classic seaside town this would be a great place to stay two weeks in. Breakfast was very good and the staff friendly.

This was our favorite of the 5 hotels we stayed in during our 2 weeks in Sicily. The exterior, which is on a side street, gives no hint of the understated elegance of the spacious interior. The wide marble halls and parlors with an abundance of seating are a subtle play of creamy yellow and pale teal. The woodwork and...

This was a lovely hotel. Simply furnished but comfortable bedrooms. Beautiful courtyard where you could have breakfast or drinks. Indoor furnishings were very grand. Reception staff did not speak good English and I didn't find them too friendly. Waiting staff were very hospitable and helpful. Bedroom was kept amazingly clean and tidy by a nice, friendly lady. The only thing...

My wife and I returned to Catania again at the beginning of May for a more extended stay- last year's was a brief 3 day recon. We elected to stay at the Katane Palace again as we'd enjoyed it last time. We wrote to ask if we could be put in the same room as last time, but could'nt recall...

We stayed as two single people (i.e.single rooms). Hotel recently refurbished to high 'traditional' standard. Most local things are in easy walking distance. Food in hotel good, but you must try Trattoria just around the corner. For travel, use 'enjoysicily.eu' (hotel will book the tours). Get hotel to book taxi to and from airport (25€, incl tip). Seems to be...
