This was a great place to stay to explore Catania and surroundings. Everything was in easy walking distance. It is a typical hostel with several bunks in each room but it is clean and the staff is very helpful. The time we were there, there was no hot water so showers were a quick affair. A highlight was the restaurant... More

I ate here with a large group (about 30) several days in a row each month this summer. They were able to cope with our group, get the orders right, keep the beverages flowing and provide great food at a good price every time.

Stayed in the hostel and it was good. Nice people on reception and very very helpful. Clean place and a great location. Right near the market and you can get fruit and veg first thing in the morning. The hostel was clean and the showers in the girls bathroom were lukewarm (but nothing you can't manage if you man up)... More

This hostel is great for meeting people as it is next to a lively bar and restaurant which attracts lots of travellers. The location is good, next to a fish market and walking distance to the sites in Catania. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The kitchen is well equipped but quite small. The hostel is next to a... More

The hostel is very well located, nearby the Piazza Duomo and you can see most of the main attractions of Catania by foot, at night the Piazza down the hostel is a good point to meet and drink a beer. The staff is excellent and very friendly, they gave us tips of places and about the Etna Volcano, the only... More

We didn't stay in the hostel, but visited as the food, atmosphere and underground river were recommended. We arrived at 6pm and left at midnight, and had a fantastic evening. The menu is large and varied with great vegan and veggie options as well as fish and meat. We had a mixed fish starter followed by a veggie pizza (him)... More

No air conditioning. People walking in out all times of the night, turning on lights while others are sleeping. Pay €2 to rent a towel. Bathrooms are not the best. There is no keys they give you, so basically anyone can access any rooms at all times

We just stayed one night with a friend, good experience. The staff is welcoming, kitch is ok. Dorms and shower are satisfactory for the price. Good place for going out during summer. The bar gives good prices and has a nice cave with underground river, good for cooling down when the temperature is high. Dorms and balcony are just in... More

We had a really warm welcome. But our room was very hot and under our window was a music box. So we had to sleep with the windows closed. We thougt the music would be out around midnight. But the party went on untill 6 a.m. The breakfast was just a croissant from the supermarket.
