This Hostel is good to stay in 1 night but no more... Old beds (not very high), toilets without seats, not really hot water in the shower, no soap in the bathroom. Its cheap and has a good location but its also near a train line and you hear it, feel it anytime a train passes by. I wouldn't stay...

We did not stay in the hostel but went there to see the river in the restaurant. Once there we waited to get a table outside to enjoy a drink. It was crowded and pretty loud. It seemed that the evening just started around 11 pm there. Lots of people had diner. It looked really nice. But my guess is...

I'd usually choose a cheap hotel over a hostel but this was a pretty good shout. The location and adjoining (cheap) bar were the main boons, but the bed, the bathrooms and the staff were all serviceable too. Most of the staff were very helpful when we were tryin to sort day trips. Breakfast is crap though, may as well...

My friend Gemma and I thought we would only stay one night, but ended up staying two because: - the staff was great, Alessandro and Santina were wonderful! - the restaurant next door was delicious, where every Tuesday the cous cous is half-price and the waiters buzz around from table to table, smiling, laughing and making you feel like part...

Overall, this hostel wasn't too bad. I thought the breakfast was really good, especially because it was on the terrace of the bar attached to the hostel. Also, the people behind the desk were extremely friendly and helpful and the hostel is close to the most interesting sights of the city. However, I thought the hostel was not too clean....

Party time in the bar of the hostel without having been warned. The solution in a crowded dorm is to close the window with a Temperature of 40 degrees! Slept 3 hours. That a really not fair not to warn the clients about a party stopping after 3pm

My friend and I stayed there for 4 nights. The hostel is well located. The bus depot is 3-5Minutes away, the shopping street too. And right next to the hostel is the fish marked of catania. The personnel was very friendly and helpful. Also their English was very good. The hostel is open 24 hours, so you can go and...

This was the worst night I have ever had travelling. Thankfully,I only had one night in catania or I would have moved. I stayed in the "single/twin room". The room had a window that opened onto the street which was unable to be closed. This meant that anytime anybody walked alone the pavement or a vehicle went passed it was...

I really don't know what to make of this hostel. The location is unbeatable, it has excellent staff, and the sheets and toilets are impeccably clean, but the layout makes no sense (several dorms are only accessible through other dorms), and parts of it are literally falling apart (like the shower curtains). They've crammed bunks in as close as they...

WE DIDN'T STAY AT THE HOSTEL, ONLY BEEN TO THE RESTAURANT Almost everyone in Catania suggested us to visit that hostel even if we don't stay there, and told us to try their special beer and enjoy the food. There was a huge sign on the wall saying: " I <3 COUSCOUS!" so we were deceived by the sign and...
