This was the worst night I have ever had travelling. Thankfully,I only had one night in catania or I would have moved. I stayed in the "single/twin room". The room had a window that opened onto the street which was unable to be closed. This meant that anytime anybody walked alone the pavement or a vehicle went passed it was...

I really don't know what to make of this hostel. The location is unbeatable, it has excellent staff, and the sheets and toilets are impeccably clean, but the layout makes no sense (several dorms are only accessible through other dorms), and parts of it are literally falling apart (like the shower curtains). They've crammed bunks in as close as they...

WE DIDN'T STAY AT THE HOSTEL, ONLY BEEN TO THE RESTAURANT Almost everyone in Catania suggested us to visit that hostel even if we don't stay there, and told us to try their special beer and enjoy the food. There was a huge sign on the wall saying: " I <3 COUSCOUS!" so we were deceived by the sign and...

We had traveled for 43 days across Italy and France and this was the WORST hostel/hotel experience. In Sept 2012, we had booked a private room for 2 people with a private external bathroom for 3 days. The bathroom was clean, which was the only thing that was close to good about our stay. Our room was on the main...

This hostel is optimal on an international scale of hostels i've seen, nothing wrong with it but its a bit more expensive than expected in Sicily and a little hard to find but once you are there its a perfect stay.

Stayed here for four days. It was the best hostel i´ve visited! The rooms are clean, breakfast is great. Also the location is awsome, there is a great park next to the hostel. Metro is really not that far away (it took us 5 minutes). Great value for that money.

Agora is a nice and pleasant hostel situated in central Catania. The location is great for sightseeing (especially recommended to visit the market on a busy morning). The rooms are simple but clean. There is free wifi downstairs, the staff is helpful. There is a bar/restaurant next door with a special offer for drinks and food for hostel guests which...

Some good points- free wi-fi in the bar and downstairs some good bathrooms. The rooms are very basic. In the private twin room there was a small metal bunk bed with leather mattresses and not enough room to swing a cat. The noise from the bar starts early (loud music switched on at breakfast) and continues late into the night....

The hostel has a good, central location - close to Piazza del Duomo, and all the main attractions of the city. Even the famous Catanian fish market is just a stones throw away. If you are looking for a room with less than 6 beds, you will not have any luck though. Internet connection is not free, showers and restrooms...

This is such a well placed hostel, right in the middle of the city. An easy walk to the markets, the shops, the churches, squares ...., even the beach if you are determined! It's in a really busy and buzzy location, with the market outside starting early every day but this is a real plus. Inside, the rooms are clean,...
