Small rather ornate hotel with marble staircases, a beautiful reception area, and a small terrace, situated a few blocks walk from the main shopping street of Catania. We only stayed one night as we were leaving to catch a flight before dawn. Our room was very large, situated on the top floor and decorated with rococo murals, heavy brocade curtains,...

This hotel, in a restored palazzo, comes as a lovely surprise as you approach it from along Via San Vito, most of whose buildings have seen better days. I was warmly welcomed by staff in the impressive reception hall. Room 206 was spacious and well equipped and the Art Nouveau decor included Tiffany lampshades. The staff were most helpful in...

Very beautiful little hotel and very charming. Nice rooms as well and good breakfast. We had rented a car and parked on the street without trouble. Due to the late serving room service we chose to get delivery from another place and it was no issue. Good service and can be highly recommended

I spent two nights at the Liberty Hotel, my first stay there. I have been coming to Catania for work for about 20 years but the opportunity to stay at this lovely hotel has never presented itself. If you are a fan of the liberty style, then this is the place for you. The decor is exquisite and all is...

This was our second visit to the wonderful Liberty Hotel. The lovely early 20th century art nouveau decor of the hotel set the scene for another delightful stay which was all the better because of the attentive service of all the staff. We took advantage of paying for off street parking, arranged by the hotel staff, and found it to...

Liberty Hotel is a very charming, cozy hotel, all decorated in a Liberty style. Rooms are spacious and well equipped, and location is 15 minutes away from the centre of Catania. Service is also very nice. However, we parked car a few meters from the hotel and we found it the day after expressly scratched on one side (probably we...

The hotel is located on a quiet side street, but is basically a 10-15 min walk from many great restaurants and sight-seeing spots. The staff are very helpful and professional, and the breakfast is limited, but very adequate for those of us that just need a cup of coffee and a croissant to start the day.

High level of professionalism from the staff. Upon checking-in, the concierge gave me a map of Catania centre, and highlighted all the things you needed to see, saving me a load of research. The continental breakfast was of very high quality (they even had kiwi fruits and almond milk). I was in room 107 on the ground floor, giving on...

The hotel in furnished in art deco style (not sadly original) but it is a really quiet and wonderful oasis of calm in a busy city. We loved the room and the whole ambiance, really good breakfasts and whilst the bar was not always appearing to be 'staffed' you could always get a drink should you wish It is also...

The photographs of the interior of this hotel and the fact that its a small hotel were the main reasons I booked this hotel. The photographs are accurate, the hotel is beautiful inside, art deco style with furnishings and fittings to match built around 1912 . You immediately feel yourself relaxing as you enter the hotel because you know its...
