We were supposed to stay in another town in Sicily but were unable to at the last minute because of the G7 conference. The negative of the hotel is it's location which is not in a great part of town and which has many planes flying overhead. However, the property itself is pretty, with lush plants and trees surrounding it...

It should be noted that my stay was during the off season. It is a great little gem in Catania. Driving up was somewhat unnerving with the dilapidated buildings, and rubbish throughout the sand beach. It was actually a bit alarming. However, as soon as you get through the gate, it is a very different place. Extremely well kept grounds,...

This is a smart hotel with lovely gardens quite close to Catania Airport. We had one of the better rooms with a large balcony and lovely bathroom. The staff were generally very helpful throughout the stay. The barman making the cocktails is very good and has an excellent personality. The pool is large, deep at one end and secluded by...

Myself and my partner stayed here for 1 night in May 2017. We stayed here as our last night before flying back to England. Our main reason for choosing this hotel was the location, as it was only 10 minutes from the airport, and our flight was early in the morning. The hotel was really lovely and our room was...

First time we booked a truly last minute break and didn't research the location. Mistake. I chose the hotel because it was close to the airport and it looked really nice. The photographers did a great job of the hotel photos, but it is clean, the staff were always helpful, the pool was crystal clear (but FREEZING), and the breakfast...

We booked this hotel through Expedia where it was rated as 5 star. The place is old and run down, rooms are terrible and by no means I would rate this as 5 star hotel. I will not recommend this place.

My parents and I stayed here when they were visiting me in Italy. We decided to go try out Sicily since it would be a new area for all of us and stayed here since it had decent reviews and was central to many attractions on the east side of Sicily. The hotel itself was decorated beautifully. The grounds were...

Had the pleasure to return to the Romano Palace recently. It was a superb stay! I am so impressed by so many aspects of the hotel. The proximity to the airport is so nice coming in and departing, less than 10 minutes. The room was so comfortable and peaceful. I had a balcony view and was nice at night to...

Please read the reviews for this hotel where we stayed April 18th. There must be a conspiracy between the booking companies and this hotel since it clearly is not 5 star ... room was dirty, air conditioning did not work, mosquitoes took over after 7pm, and staff completely disappeared when it came time (7:30 am) to check out, move bags...

The hotel is basically not really bad, friendly staff at the reception. The garden is nice and kept well. Breakfast is not geeat but ok. The rooms are small. The bathroom was not clean, especially the toilet was not cleaned well. Neither you will find tissues nor a coffee machine or a waterheater in the room. That is just not...
