Manganelli Palace is situated in a very old buildning, close to the main street (Via Etnea) of Catania, which means that you have good access to things to see and do in the city. The hotel is on the fourth floor so you will have to use the small and oldfashioned elevator to get to the reception (if you don´t...

Walking trough the little streets of the center of a sunny Catania, just turning the latest corner, you can find a gate to enter a small hotel where the ancient and aristocratic rooms are at your disposal: roof of the suites remind you to the XVII century and make you feel a small taste of the old borbonic Sicily. Staff,...

I had to think and think hard over any faults regarding this Hotel and I couldn't! The only thing that might be annoying to some guests is the old fashioned lift to the 4th floor limited to taking 2 people at a time - but to me this added the final touch of character to the hotel set in the...

Location is very good - 1 minute away from the main road Via Etnea and a couple of minutes...

Very close To Via Etnea and the Duomo and other attractions. The hotel is in an old palazzo just off of Piazza Manganelli. Access is by a very quaint lift up to the fourth floor. The reception staff very friendly and helpful. Our room, accessed by an internal lift, was on the third floor.and was large, not ornate as in...

My wife and I stayed in the Manganelli Palace Hotel during our first night in Sicily. It was a very nice hotel with very spacious rooms, that have nice vaulted ceilings, and the bathroom was outfitted with a nice shower and all creature comforts. The staff was very accommodating as well, as they offered great suggestions for lunch and dinner...

The location is great if you are going to stay in Catania for the duration of your vacation because it is very central. It is not very near the trains and buses however, a bit of a drag if you are planning to visit the nearby cities/beaches/sights. Staff behavior varied from extremely unfriendly to very polite and helpful. I don't...

The hotel was ideal for us as we were in Catania for shopping. It is just a side street away from Via Etnea and therefore could empty our hands from the shopping bags and leave us free to enjoy the various tourists attractions in the center of Catania. The breakfast had a good selection of food and the receptionists were...
