This is more a depressing "factory" unit divided up into rooms and nothing like 99% of "HOTELS". It is located in a run-down area close to the railway station, but too far from the excellent centre of Catania. We arrived for six nights, but left immediately. The rooms seem to have two floors, with the bed up another set of stairs. Are other reviews genuine? Also stayed in "EXCELLENT" proper hotels in Rome, Messina and Palermo for a total of six mights. Moved to Centrum Hotel, an excellent hotel close to the Bellini Theatre.

Lovely room and great service, we arrived early so had to go and explore so the lady in reception took our bags to the room. She made sure I was ok as had a knee splint on. Good location and only a few minutes from Bellini square. Lovely murals on the walls and comfortable bed

An absolutely superb hotel, quirky, clean and comfortable. Lovely friendly staff, always on hand. One of the nicest hotels we’ve stayed in. Super room, comfortable bed, fabulous shower room, beautiful breakfast room and a good choice of food and drink at breakfast. All the little extra touches added to our enjoyment of our stay. The pristinely clean room, the sweets, toiletries, and much more. The floating umbrellas, the art & jazz artwork outside (amazing!) …. we really didn’t want to leave. The hotel isn’t in the best streets of Catania, although it’s so handy for the station. However we loved walking around the streets in the morning before we left. We found a fabulous place to eat about 5 minute’s walk away in the evening, Moschettieri, a real typically Sicilian place with delicious home cooked food. We’d go back to The Art & Jazz Hotel in a heartbeat.

5 minutes away from the train station and bus station. The room is nice and clean. The staff is helping you with all, great ideas about what you can visite in the city, where you can enjoy a drink, arancini, granita in the bar or a good diner in the restaurant. The breakfast is also ok ( maybe for me like a vegetarian I will prefer next time more fruits and a vegan milk). The room is clean and cozy, in the bathroom is all you need. I will returne here for sure. Please inform the time of your arrival if not you can call to the phone number the property. Maybe will be nice to enter in the hotel with a entrance key(cop card).

The location of the hotel is ideal since the stop of the Alibus which takes you from the airport is 50 metres away, the central train station is a five minute walk away, while the city center and all the tourist attractions are within reach by foot. In the area there good places to eat and drink. The hotel itself has a very good vibe. The personnel and the owner are very friendly and polite and make you feel welcome. The room had two floors, with the bed being on the upper floor and the bathroom down. Very nicely decorated and clean. The breakfast room was in the backyard, it was spacious and the breakfast was very tasty but not very varied if i might say. Definitely a value for money choice.

We spent 2nights at the hotel, and we were satisfied with everything. The room was nice, clean and spacious. The breakfast was tasty, but every morning the same. The staff really friendly and helpful. The hotel is close to the railway station, but a bit far from the beach, and the city center.

This hotel is truly awesome, the staff is extremely friendly, the room is great (2 floors), the breakfast is amazing - certainly a place worth staying again. The location is good, it is like fifteen to twenty minutes walk to the city center.

We stayed three nights at this hotel. Conveniently located for train and bus stations and within walking distance of all the major sights. Warm welcome on arrival and friendly staff throughout our stay. Nicely decorated and clean split level room with spacious bathroom and shower. Frosted windows which meant we could not actually see outside - fine for us but just to be aware if you are an "open window type". Large breakfast room with a good breakfast spread...lots of sweet items but this seems to be a feature of Sicilian breakfasts! Good, help yourself coffee.

We stayed just one night, but enjoyed our stay. The hotel is close to Catania railway station so handy if travelling onwards. It’s easy to find and takes about 10 minutes to walk. The welcome was great, we were shown the bed room, breakfast room, given some great recommendations for dinner and were made to feel very welcome. The room was clean and tidy and had a good sized bathroom. Breakfast was fine, nothing special but more than sufficient. Over all value was excellent.
