This place was beyond our expectations. Fantastic staff, wonderful breakfast, great rooms. The location was great. We were made to feel at home and met some incredible people. Can't wait to go back. Loved it!

Enjoyed our stay at the Porta Felice. Among the positves: Good size rooms, decent location, quiet outside, nice breakfast area, comfortable beds, numerous restaurants nearby including the Michelin rated Ottava Nota a few doors down. What was lacking a bit: the breakfast area didn't have a lot of seating, breakfast fare was average at best and the elevators were slow...

We stayed in Palermo for 8 days and found this hotel to be a nice home away from home - staff were very helpful (special thanks to Dario and Noemi who were knowledgable and took great care of us. A couple of tips: 1) Many reviewers complained about the Nestle coffee machine - which really was pretty lame - BUT,...

The Porta Felice turned out to be a great find. Its location is very convenient and close to both the waterfront and the free Palermo tourist bus line if you need. The hotel restaurant is quite good and there are several other nicely reviewed restaurants close. The staff were wonderful, warm and helpful - we felt very welcome and cared...

We totally enjoyed our 4 night stay here. The staff was very accommodating and our room was comfortable and clean. We were upgraded to a suite. My only recommendation is a few more breakfast choices such as hard boiled eggs!!

Coming into Palermo, I didn't know what to expect from this hotel but was very pleasantly surprised. Great location near the port and 100 metres from a free bus that encircles the old city. Big room, huge very comfortable bed, great fittings and features, very large modern bathroom, mini bar with stuff actually in it - all topped off by...

A small but perfectly formed spa. They only allow a maximum of 6 people in at once so you feel like the spa is yours. A wonderful massage was had I would go back in a flash. It is expensive, but you get what you pay for.

Our experience was quite positive. We had great wifi (streamed news from home occasionally) and our room was perfectly cleaned each day. We enjoyed their full and complete breakfast daily. No issues checking in or out. Some noise at night due to nearby renovation of a different building. Otherwise, I would have rated sleep quality higher.

Very nice location, but hotel is in need of allot of repair. Safes don't work, door locks don't work, and internet is intermittent. The restaurant has a nice view and serves good food. The staff is very responsive, although their morning coffee is terrible with Nescafe instant. Stay elsewhere. Ken
