Modern decor, good-sized room, very clean. The staff were outstanding - very welcoming and helpful, nothing was too much trouble including fresh milk each day for tea making in the room. The breakfast was varied and plentiful. An evening meal was available for 15 Euros which included 3 courses, water and wine. The food was typically Sicilian, simple and fresh....

This hotel is perfectly placed, right in the centre of town. Elegant building, rooms big size. Try not to get a room on upper ground floor as you may end up looking out into the car park. Breakfast was incredibly basic. The thing that surprised me the most (and this is not me being a lazy English person) was that...

Clean. Spacious room. Very willing to change our room to get double bed. Offers car parking for a small fee. Rich breakfast an good dinner options. Small business room and also smoking / study area. You can find a lot of useful amenities such as shops, cafes, bus stops and access to a lot of "to do" things of Palermo.

Most significantly are the two staircases in ramp style that are the only entrances to the hotel. Bad enough to get suitcases up and down; no way for anyone with even a small disability. We were in two rooms so I am comfortable in saying that the housekeepers do their job really well. No decor to the rooms and metal...

We had booked into the Hotel Garibaldi's sister the Vecchio Borgio but when we arrived we were told there was a problem with the water and we had to move to the sister hotel. We were very tired having taken the train from Naples so were put ina taxi for what proved to be a three minute ride! Hotel Garibaldi...

We had a double room No 301 with a balcony overlooking a side street in the city. The room was a small suite in two halves both with a television set. The double bed was comfortable and the room was well lit with a desk. The other half housed the wardrobe and a comfortable settee. Free Wi-Fi and safe were...

We booked the Garibaldi through lastminute.com, including the air tickets so I cannot comment on the cost of the rooms. The hotel was adequate. Our bedroom had the basics and a very good bathroom. The breakfast was a disappointment - the hot stuff was all grossly overcooked, the colds were minimal, the fruit poor but there was a nice range...

City centre hotel that does rooms and breakfasts. Room comfortable and everything worked once we'd sussed the heating. Breakfast better than OK but not memorable - our tour group gave a sense of comparison with Sicilian hotels and it did well. Excellent position and very easy to get out and about for evening meals. Staff friendly and helpful, though the...

Room was ok and bathroom adequate. No public areas. Breakfast room cramped. Bar never open except for when we arrived and we were offered half a glass of the cheapest white wine possible as a welcome drink.. We were part of a Saga tour.

Dear JeannieMac, thanks for your recent stay at Hotel Garibaldi, we are happy that the room and the bathroom have been to your liking, but we don't understand some of the criticisms in the present review. The public areas are on the ground floor near the lobby, in fact there is an area near the breakfast room with sofas and...
