We spent three nights at Palazzo del Poeta in December. This place is an absolute gem and we will definitely return. This gorgeous boutique hotel is centrally located and boasts a phenomenal hostess and owner Rosa. Upon entry on a quiet side street off Via Roma, the lobby level is cozy yet stunning with arches that date back to the 1600s and make a wonderful first impression. The place was perfectly decorated for Christmas during our stay, which was a nice touch. While the building is historic, Rosa has renovated it with love, and modern touches are noted everywhere. The room was extremely comfortable and clean. Currently at 5 rooms, the Palazzo is connected to another hotel owned by Rosa which provides ample resources when needed. In addition, there is a lounge space, where breakfast is served, along with a cute loft library, that is a nice place to enjoy an afternoon coffee or tea after touring the town. The breakfast served every morning was absolutely Sicilian hospitality and over the top in every way, with more pastries than one could ever dream of eating, along with an attendant to make coffee. (We were told that normally it is a buffet breakfast, but with covid they are keeping it private and offering a time slot, which was nice). Rosa is extremely responsive and helpful. She is always available if needed but also respects everyone's privacy. We had a wonderful stay and would definitely stay here again in the future.

Excellence describes Rosa place. It is warm and inviting, beautiful and bright, fresh and relaxing. We let Rosa know we would be a late arrival and she not only took care of all the details she also welcomed us when we arrived nearly midnight. Our room was large, clean and bright and there were fresh baked good and water each day, Even with Covid protocols she provided us a fabulous breakfast. Thank you Rosa, if we return to Palermo we’ll be staying with you.

We stayed for 4 nights. Its a beautiful venue. The building has been restored & the original features are fabulous. Rosa the hostess has put a lot of thought into every detail and anticipated your every need. Staff are super. Perfectly located to explore Palermo. I eat gluten free and this was not a problem. I received beautiful freshly cooked eggs and gf pastries every morning.

Great boutique hotel in a very central location. Rooms are spacious and very well maintained. And Rosa is a great host, she could not do enough for us during our 4 night stay. Staff were all excellent, following the high standards set by Rosa. Breakfasts were amazing with so many pastries to choose from every day.

This was by far our favorite and most elegant and comfortable accommodations on our tour through southern Italy. This home has been elegantly remodeled and is stunningly beautiful and simultaneously comfortable and relaxing. Rosa, the host, is responsible for the entire remodel and every detail is absolutely perfect. This was the last stop on our tour of southern Italy and this location, and especially Rosa, made it all the more special. In addition, Rosa was incredibly helpful when we arrived as all six of us arrived without luggage due to a baggage handler strike. Rosa went above and beyond to liaison with the airline and get our luggage delivered to us as soon as it arrived in Sicily. We had six people in our party and we stayed in a 3 bedroom suite. Every morning a generous and mouthwatering breakfast was waiting for us when we awoke. The Palazoo Del Poeta is located in the heart of Palermo and is easy walking distance to everything you can imagine from sightseeing, dining and shopping. Even without our luggage this beautiful hotel and host made this stop on our itinerary our favorite. I am already looking forward to a return visit to Sicily just so I can stay at the Palazzo Del Poeta again. It is truly a destination by itself. Thank you to Rosa for helping us with everything and for the perfect stay.
