Unfortunately we only were at the Artemisia Palace Hotel for a short while as our flight was late and our luggage stayed in Rome. So by the time we made it there it was 8 pm. We found it to be centrally located with restaurants all around so the location was very convenient. The staff were very friendly and helpful, recommending a restaurant to us for a late dinner so we didn't have to go far. Our room was good sized as was the bathroom. Breakfast was typically Sicilian consisting mainly of baked goods which were tasty.

We had a great stay in this hotel which represented excellent value for money.

The rooms were clean and well equipped, the staff were always helpful, polite and courteous.

The location was great as it was easy to walk into the historic centre, yet on a quiet enough street that there was not major noise to keep us awake.

I was a little disappointed to not have a window in my room (despite a specific request for one at booking). However, the reception staff were immediately apologetic and changed my room to one with a balcony onto the street.

In all we booked 4 separate rooms and left as 4 highly satisfied customers.

An excellent hotel.

Fantastic hotel. Great location, helpful and friendly staff. Parking was available for €25 per night just 2mins walk away that was recommended by the hotel and they gave us directions to it.
All the amenities were within walking distance. Breakfast was lovely and had a great selection of food available.
Our room(205) was facing the main road and we all had a great nights sleep, just make sure the shutters are closed.
We will be staying here on our next visit to Palermo.

The location is the only asset, I even considered walking the streets to avoid my smelly, humid and stiflingly stuffy room.

When I arrived they tried to charge me 50% extra compared to online, I asked for their best price twice to get a real price. One receptionist was pleasant, though.

I could hear my neighbours on the phone, at one point declaring he was 'taking a sh**'. I believed him, because I could hear it like he was in my room. It's worse than just bad sound proofing, the building actually reverberates sound and magnifies it which stopped only at 1:30am. I had to wear headphones to block it out.

Then there's the smell. The room smelt like it had been cleaned with dirty water and then not had a window to let out the damp. This makes sense, because there's only one window that opens and it's tiny. The room has no ventilation. Air con works, but makes the room hotter not cooler because the lowest temp setting is too high.

The toilet looked clean but didn't smell it.

They say breakfast is included - it isn't - you must pay for it. (€2 added to bill)

Despite the room being hot, there's no bottles of water, no tooth paste or anything like that. I'm so thirsty.

The entrance to the hotel makes it seem fancy, but it's a thin facade. Rooms on Airbnb are cheaper and superior in everyway.

Good location on Via Roma, reception staff are very friendly and helpful. Room was big, with good fittings and the best pillows I've ever used!
Some tlc needed with shutters and recommend earplugs if you are a light sleeper. WiFi is good & TV has usual Italian channels and Sky Sports including F1.
Buffet breakfast was fabulous and waiting staff couldn't have been more helpful.
To get to hotel from station, the buses 101, 102 & 124 and tickets cost €1.70 single journey. The Belmonte stop is right beside the hotel.

We had an average stay at Artemisia Palace Hotel. Check-in was easy, our room was spacious with a nice window view onto the street. We found the bed very hard and uncomfortable and the air con seemed to take a long time to cool the room.

We stayed there twice, the first time the room was on the top floor and the elevator didn't get there and it was a bit inconvenient to carry the pram up and down all the time but they allowed us to keep it next to the reception. We asked to be changed to a room in a lower floor for our next visit which they did. This room was not as modern as the one on the top floor but it was still very nice.
The location is great to get to know Palermo.
The staff is very friendly and tries their best to assist.
Breakfast was very generous and varied and the staff there very friendly and accommodating as we were travelling with a little one.

Fantastic location only a short 5 min walk from theatre politeama and 30 min walk from quatro canti and Pretoria fountain. The hop on hop off bus is a five minute walk. Some fanatasic authentic sicilan restaurants very close ( la osteria is highly recommended). The staff are very helpful and nice particularly the breakfast staff ! The breakfast is delicious, the rooms are clean, comfortable and spacious. Couldnt ask for more from a city hotel.

For value travelers that appreciate good service, clean rooms and good location. Artemesia’s employees were attentive, Gina in the front desk was very helpful and kindly supported us during our somehow chaotic arrival from the Airport. Good location with good restaurants around, nice walking distance from the historic center and supermarkets and drugstores close by.

The hotel is very close to the center of Palermo, the room was nice but I think the bathroom is a bit old ,the first night we had a problem with the hot water so had a cold shower but it was fixed the next day. Reception staff was really nice as also the service staff.
Breakfast was quite good, though some food was cold.
I really liked the decoration as we visited after Christmas 🎄
