Amazing rooms!! Amazing hosts!! Amazing location! This is just everything you could dream of. These luxury serviced apartments are high on luxury and high on service. Filippo greeted me on arrival and informed me he had upgraded me to the Savoia Loft…..WOW!!! If only I could live there! Absolutely stunning, spacious, and beautifully decorated. All the finishing, furnishings, and appliances are modern (yet classic) and top of the line. The entire property, including the apartments, is spotlessly clean and always smells so fresh and wonderful (the housekeepers deserve some recognition here. They do a great job, and always seemed to get in at just the right time). The view from the suite over the Massimo Theater is surreal and majestic. It was hard to even turn away. And then there is the rooftop terrace, providing panoramic views over all of Palermo. I was lucky enough to be there to ring in the New Year— and it’s something I will never forget. Filippo was a wonderful host— and always readily available. He didn’t even make me feel bad when I locked myself out of my apartment on the first day. He swiftly got a new key over to me. The location, in addition to the proximity to the famous theater, is superb. There are picturesque alleys leading up to Palazzo Sovrana from the back side. And stepping out the front door and turning left, you are on the main artery of the old town— filled with shops, cafes, and character. Finally, I must mention the breakfast. Typical hotels may offer a breakfast buffet on site. Palazzo Sovrana “one ups” this by giving its guests breakfast vouchers to the cafe downstairs— which just so happens to be probably the most well-located cafe in town. Each morning, I sat outside, admiring the theater just steps away, while enjoying the most delicious pistachio croissants and cappuccino I could ever want. The cafe has plenty of other options too— but I was so in love with the pistachio croissant that I never strayed from that. Many, many, thanks to Filippo and his team, for a magnificent stay in Palermo.

This hotel is totally amazing. The room, I should say apartment, was very spacious, comfortable and extremely clean. Another impressive thing was how sound proof the apartment was from the outside noise. You can't beat the hotel's location. Everything you need is in walking distance. The hotel manager, Philippo, was very gracious. He also offered us tickets for free breakfasts at the corner restaurant. Can't beat it. This had to be one of the best hotels I every stayed at ( and I stayed at a lot of them).

We had a studio apartment with balcony here for a couple of nights, and would highly recommend it. The location is superb, in the heart of the pedestrian core of Palermo right by the Teatro Massimo. The rooms have everything you need, and they provided fresh fruit and even gluten-free bread for my husband. It's an apartment-style hotel -- so no front desk or restaurant -- but they provide breakfast at the cafe next door, and Filippo and his sister Paola were always available via WhatsApp or phone to answer any questions. They researched gluten-free restaurant options for us and gave some good recommendations.

Two of us stayed at the Palazzo Sovrana for 5 nights. The location was conveniently located, in the heart of the city, directly downstairs was a number of restaurants and shops and bars. We had two balconies over looking the Teatro Massimo. We stayed in a small apartment which was extremely clean and neat. Balcony doors are soundproof which was great at night. Filippo was extremely helpful and accommodating and gave us tickets to 5 mornings of free breakfast at the coffee shop downstairs. We accidently locked ourselves out of the hotel and room early one morning, and after asking a kind soul at the coffeeshop to call Filippo, he arrived within 20 minutes to let us back in! Great place, highly recommend.

My husband and I stayed here while we were in Palermo. The room was beautiful and spacious. It was also very quiet on the midst of the hustle and bustle because of the excellent sound proofing of the building. The staff was very accommodating and friendly. It’s more of an apt lifestyle then a hotel. So don’t expect to see a front desk with around the clock service. It was wonderful and the location was perfect. My only suggestion is maybe to have more options for breakfast if someone is staying there for more then one night. It’s great to get the authentic Sicilian cafe experience but after one day I would like more than the croissant experience at the cafe next door. Perhaps some protein or fruit maybe. But needless to say the croissants at the cafe next door were absolutely delicious. Give yourself enough time for breakfast as it is a busy cafe next door. Overall great place to stay!
