A nice property. Spacious. Missing a few small finishing touches (Glasses & Wine Glasses). The breakfast (a cafe next door) is average and boring. Central Location means the sounds of people and activities can be heard up till midnight before things settle. Airport transfer didn't work out as planned. Overall, a lovely place that will improve over time.

Palazzo Sovrana is a beautiful property in Palermo offering spacious full service suites in Palermo. The owners/managers are exceptionally kind, welcoming and extremely helpful in planning itineraries, booking transfers, recommending terrific restaurants and sights. The corridors of the building itself function as something of a contemporary art gallery, displaying some paintings I would have loved to purchase for our home. Our room at Palazzo Sovrana was clean, beautifully decorated, and quite comfortable for our four night stay. We had a view of impressive Teatro Massimo which stood just across the street. Breakfast is provided at the typical bar/cafe just next door. Their cornetti and coffee drinks, as well as the fresh orange juice, were excellent. . The area is bustling and noisy on weekends, but the soundproofing at Palazzo Sovrana is so exceptional that we barely were aware of that when finally putting ourselves to sleep. Palermo is a beautiful and vibrant city, not to be missed. You could not pick a better accommodation than Palazzo Sovrana.

We very much enjoyed our stay. The palazzo is right in the heart of action with pedestrian streets, shopping and restaurants. Paola was extremely helpful and responsive. She proactively reached out to provide information for parking etc. Many thanks for enriching our visit to Palermo.

The Palazzo Sovrano apartment was the ideal location for a stay in Palermo! Views of the Teatro Massimo, bathed in dawn light, the warm afternoon sunshine, or beautifully lit in the evening were breathtaking from the amazing terrace and the windows - even more exquisite than shown on the website! The apartment is well outfitted for a short stay - a very comfortable bed, great lighting, a most excellent shower and bathroom, and super clean. Daily housekeeping was thorough and efficent. Though there are modest pots, pans, and dishes for eating in, the location makes it hard to resist going out for Palermo's famous street food or to the many nearby cafes and restaurants. I loved all the art in the hallways - an "art gallery" with the modern art from paintings to sculptures also for sale. Likewise the furnishings in the apartment and through the palazzo are modern, beautifully designed, and curated. The only area that could be improved is communication and support from the hosts. Palazzo Sovrano offers apartments, not a hotel, The presence of the hosts when they were on site was so additive and helpful, it would be amazing if there was someone there throughout the day. What a great stay with amazing memories! I hope to return.

We loved our stay at Palazzo Sovrano. We only stayed one night but if - actually - when we return to Palermo this will be my first port of call. It is super well located. We had a superior deluxe apartment which was spacious and had fabulous views with excellent air conditioning and sound proofing. Our host was helpful and timely. This is not a hotel but hosted apartments but the communication is top notch. Breakfast is at the bar next door and the only challenge was getting a table.

True Luxury. True Service. True Spaceous Apartments with kitchen. Located in the centre of Palermo, just in front of the renown Teatro Massimo, Sovrana is offering all this service. And more. Bkf is inclusive and provided by the pâtisserie Ruvolo, just at the corner of the Sovrana's entrance. This is the 3rd time, we came here (apts. 302 and 203) and the owners Paola and Filippo Schillaci have always welcomed us with courtesy and efficiency. With our gratitude toboth of you for taking care of us, as in a family. We will be back soon. G&B Novelli, Geneva, Switzerland

We have just arrived home from a 3 night stay at Palazzo Sovrana - what an amazing apartment and location! The property is located in the heart of Palermo, with the stunning Teatro Massimo directly opposite, the main strip of delicious street food and bars to your left and shops to your right. Despite being so central the rooms at night were completely soundproof despite the constantly busy streets outside. Communication from the staff was very fast and efficient via WhatsApp, making our arrival flawless with all our requests met. We had great recommendations for restaurants and car rental nearby. The apartment was very spacious, modern, and clean with fantastic air con. The property lobbies and apartment also smelt amazing! The cafe downstairs where you can redeem your breakfast voucher is a must. The staff are very friendly with a prime view of the Teatro Massimo with an extensive menu with the best croissants and fresh juice. Very, very impressive property that I would recommend to anyone visiting the historic capital of Palermo. Thank you!!

We had an absolutely wonderful time at the Palazzo Sovrana; our trip was made all the more special by the exceptional hospitality shown to us by Paola, who met us on arrival (which was very late, as our flight was delayed), gave us lots of tips and advice and generally made us feel most welcome. She and Filippo had also organised a very efficient and friendly car transfer from the airport - thanks to Lorenzo and Angelo for their super service :) Palazzo Sovrana is a building steeped in history, and located in possibly the best site to visit Palermo - overlooking the incredibly impressive Teatro Massimo (which is, by the way, a must see ... the guided tour is informative too). If you have an interest in cinema, its involvement in the making of the iconic Godfather III will delight! It's a perfect spot from which to walk anywhere within the old town, access the bus or rail stations, or to explore the rest of this vibrant, eclectic city. The modest entrance reveals a high end interior which doubles as an art gallery, displaying contemporary works of art and sculpture throughout the building. Marble floors throughout, an elevator delivered us to our second floor studio with super views to the side street and front of the theatre, which has a lovely large double bed, a kitchen with Nespresso, tea, and water in the fridge. The bathroom was extremely well kitted out, with robes, slippers, and very good shower facilities. The air conditioning throughout the apartment was exceptional (and necessary with temperatures in the late thirties!). And it was all immaculately clean - a fantastic job by the housekeeping staff (who were also really friendly) - I'm sorry I didn't catch the lady's name. We stayed here for a total of five days and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Palermo. Impressive quality and excellent hospitality which represented good value. I just hope it will be available the next time we visit. Thanks a million, Paola, Filippo and your whole team - favaloso!

It was a bit hard to find the parking space, because they made some roads pedestrians only and the GPS did not have it it’s database, but Felippo was a perfect host that manages everything perfectly. His service was outstanding. Thank you so much for your hospitality.

We were surprised by the quality of the installations and the service. Only problem to those that have a car is that you need to arrange for parking in advance. No access via car. Otherwise, great room, bed, shower, air conditioning. Very attentive service. Breakfast in a nearyby cafe, good.
