the hotel is nice indeed, one of the view where my expectations have been surpassed by the real thing. Service may be more courteous maybe: the porter takes for granted he should take up your luggages (and get tipped for; something which is not common in Sicily); if you find two single beds in your room and you would like...

Piazza Borsa is a great location for exploring Palermo & surrounding sights. The hotel is a bright, airy, beautifully refurbished former bank from another era. Staff were mostly efficient & helpful. Breakfast buffet was delicious. My lovely, spacious, quiet bedroom's balcony overlooked the breakfast terrace & the jacuzzi bath/shower was a nice surprise...

Amazing hotel in an old palazzo adopted for hotel. Rooms are giant, service is great. Nice patio, nice breakfast. Generally nice place. Nothing to complain about. But also nothing that would make this place extraordinary. Still, I would go there again and I would recommend it to my friends.

A old school Palermo hotel with a fantastic vibe and location, this Palermo and this palce has a soul. Parking outside and good breakfast, close to evertyhing so you can walk all around town. Staff is just as arrogant as they are supposed to be and the rooms are just as old and charming and a bit worn down as...

A second visit to this hotel. Friendly, attentive staff -at reception, restaurant, bar. Well appointed room and bathroom. 'My' room also had a wide balcony. A huge breakfast selection. A shame I could not stay longer. Definitely recommend for those visiting my favourite region of Italy. A small negative in that the wifi is best in the lobby/lounge/courtyard areas.

This is a lovely peaceful hotel in a really busy city. There was no traffic noise at all. This is a traditional hotel with a good restaurant in a great setting. We booked a larger room as we were staying a few nights and enjoyed the extra space. The hotel is busy during the week but it is big enough...

Good location and the rooms were fine, slightly strange smell in parts of the hotel (it's three buildings made into one hotel). The breakfast was very nice but the staff are rude, impersonal and it feels like it's an effort for them to do anything. We were there as part of a group and had breakfast and one dinner there...

I stayed here as part of a tour of Sicily. We spent the last two nights in Palermo. If you find yourself in the city while on a tour of Sicily this is the place to stay. It is a converted bank with an outdoor area that is now under a roof that closes. The rooms and service rival any...

The hotel is composed of three old palazzi hooked together all surrounding a lovely courtyard with a retractable roof - a very pleasant place for tea or a drink. There is a roof terrace for breakfast making for a lovely way to begin the day. Our room was well fitted and the bathroom was spacious with nice towels and a...
