The worst hotel we have ever stayed in. The hotel was in really bad disrepair. Stains on the carpets everywhere , dirty marks on the walls. Chipped paint everywhere. Holes in the floor through the carpet. Damaged walls.

In fact, if you are renting a car to see more of Sicily it is much easier to come in by bus, not worry about driving late at night in Palermo (which can be alarming if new to you) and return the next morning to collect the car from the airport. Why pay for a day's rental and parking when you go straight to bed?
