The B&B is situated in the centre of Palermo, with everything nearby. The rooms are large and comfortable, but with some noise from the street (market). Breakfast is sober, but enough. The host, Fabio, is great. He has lots of tips, knows a lot of the city and was very helpfull with the retrieval of our lost luggage! Great stay!

When you find the Giugagio, you wonder what on earth you have booked it for. You enter this VERY old (200 yrs) building, and go up a circular winding marble stair case. When you enter you find yourself in this huge well kept "modern house". It has huge rooms, with parquet floors, large office, lounge room, dinning room, etc and the...

Fabio was wonderful. He is an extremely knowledgeable and eager to help host. The property is located right in the heart of the old city, a short walking distance to all major landmarks. Spacious clean rooms with all the necessary mod cons. If you want to feel like your amongst the locals, then this is the place to stay. I...

It's well worth climbing the 50 stairs that lead to this superb B&B. Rooms spacious, clean, and comfortable. Breakfast generous and superb. Cannot be faulted. Great views of bustling street market from the windows. A/C available. This is THE place to sleep in the historic centre of Palermo.

When one is looking for an accommodation for reasonable price in a foreign city, there is always a chance to find yourself in an overcrowded, noisy and dirty place. You can never be sure, that the advertised advantages of the hotel will turn to be true. That’s why I was pleasantly surprised to see that Guigagio BB is even better...

Hard to find especially with the street markets everyday but Sunday - winding marble staircase to the second floor is a bit of a pain lugging baggage but you enter a spacious 3 bedroom 3 bathroom apartment Fabio who manages the property is a warm gracious host who provides a basic no frills breakfast everyday and knows the best local...

This B&B is well located in a central old part of Palermo and was spacious - no one else was staying there so we had the run of the place - there were three bedrooms. The beds were comfy and it was nice and cool inside. Yes there are stairs but this is an old building people - so if...

You could see by the entrance that this isn't the best place to stay. Once you make it through the stable-like doors and then the pot-holed dirt driveway, there's the three flight spiral staircase and finally to the front door. Just make sure you call before you get there - Fabio or George don't stay there all day. The area...

First I will say the good things about this hotel. The staff (Fabio) was very friendly and helpful and made us feel at home. The double room was a large basic room. Now for the bad things. We could not find the hotel because there was no obvious sign and had to ask several people where the hotel was. We...
