Booked this hotel because of location. It was perfect. Beautiful palatial building. Decor old fashioned but still beautiful. My room was very nice and what I would say very Italian. My bathroom was very tired and could be updated. Breakfast at the hotel was typically Mediterranean and had plenty to choose from. Set us up for the day. My only negative point was the rudeness of a couple of the reception staff. The person who checked us in at 1.30am was less than welcoming. Everything looked like a bother to him. He also checked us out when we left and showed the same trait. Another female receptionist was very rude also. I think I would look for something else in the same vicinity when I visit palermo later in the year. Feel reception would benefit from some younger staff who can smile rather than grumpy past retirement dead wood …
beautiful central hotel, very pretty, 10 mins walk from the stations/ marina , central to all areas, beautiful settings, excellent breakfast, clean , comfortable rooms, attentive friendly staff, we cannot fault this hotel, we did get a good deal as January, I believe a little more expensive in the summer season. highly recommended.
The location of this hotel is perfect as it's right in the middle of the old town and close to the main tourist attractions. The building is beautiful, being an old palazzo. The staff are very courteous and willing to help, very professional. The rooms are fine but mine didn't get much light as it was overlooking a side narrow street . I had a standard room and it was clean and spacious, traditionally furnished. No noise from the street as they have good double glazing. But the internal soundproofing is not strong. The air con is also noisy. I am a light sleeper so this may not be an issue for many but something to be aware of. The breakfast is very good and their pastries are great.
Hello we enjoyed our stay. Great location. Staff were excellent. Very helpful. Breakfast was bountiful. Room was a good size. Hotel is beautiful. Safe to walk around at night. Great wine stores and places to eat nearby.
Staffs were so unkind, unprofessional and even worse never willing to try to help you. I asked for advice on where to go, what to do, they just said ‘I don’t know’. As hotelier located at the center of popular travel destination, they should have knowledge and information to advise guests. Shame on them!!!! The room is ver old, no natural light, very depressing to stay. The my don’t deserve four star.
If you are looking for a hotel that it centrally located, this place is perfect.. Very professional and friendly staff. Nice building.Clean rooms. Not pretentious. Very decent breakfast with plenty of options. Good value for your money. Would come back.
The service, the comfort, the location, the breakfast room - ALL top notch. I have been staying at this Palace for the last six years and I will always stay here when I visit Palermo. The front desk staff are exceptional, especially Veronica! The rooms are spacious and extremely comfortable. The breakfast room is elegant with offerings for everyone. I can't wait to return!
Standard double for 2, breakfast included. Room was dated but clean. Bed was comfortable and we woke up well rested. Reception staff were wonderful and we're always helpful. Breakfast was pretty good, variety of foods ranging from; cereal, cold meats, cheeses, pastries, cakes and bacon and eggs. Not many hot items, and not much if you're vegan, but for myself quite enjoyable. Location was spot on, minutes away from the Fountains of Shame and the Cattedrale di Palermo. Around the corner from some great restaurants and bars. 15 minute walk to the train station and a nearby Lidl for snacks/bottled water.
Beautiful decor and helpful staff. Amazing food; great location by Quattro Canti. Nice street view from balcony above. Close to many historical sites. Wonderful breakfast with croissants and espresso.
The Eurostars Centrale Palace was extremely welcoming of my family and I staying just one night to take in the highlights of Palermo. We were assisted with parking our car on site and felt very at home. Breakfast is a fantastic experience with a seemingly endless variety of offerings.
