I highly recommend this hotel! Nice ocean view rooms, very clean with air conditioning. Great staff, very welcoming and helpful. The lady enza from the resteraunt and a nice young English speaking girl (helpful since I don't speak Italian) helped me to decide many wonderful dinners. Very fresh tasty fish. Highly recommend this hotel and restaurant

I spent one week of leisure at the Hotel Villa D’Amato. I was given a quite basic room for the first night, with balcony overlooking more the parking lot then the garden itself and without wi-fi signal, so the next day a very kind receptionist Rosario (who had proven to be very helpful from the first contact by e-mail) said:...

A good place to stay and an excellent kitchen. Some cons: very much traffic only 5 meters from your windows. Even shutters and two times doubleglass cannot stop the noise. 2.5 km from the citty centre , a walkable distance.

A hotel to sleep in - its not luxurious or perfect but I dont fly hundreds of miles to sit in my hotel room. Unlike most of the people on here we did not get ripped off by any restaurants in fact I would recommend the fish restaurant s nearby. As for nearness to Palermo its a 10 minute bus...

I booked into this hotel and read the reviews after. I personally am shocked at some comments and feel like it must be a different hotel. My room was lovely, with a comfortable bed, a bath and a shower (this was a normal room), I had excellent wifi signal in the room which is really important for me, the room...

We arrived late at night and our first impression was of the area, which was not as we would have expected; we wrongly assumed that since it was along the sea front the area would be a nice part of town as surely this could be a major attractor of tourists. Unfortunately, the surrounding area was full of rubbish on...

With much regret we read this review written to us and unfortunately we add that human wickedness has absolutely no limits. Our hotel has rooms overlooking a large garden and the rooms have balconies and windows overlooking just about it. Every day we have numerous Italian and foreign clients who come to spend the night and stay with us and...

The hotel itself has a good strcture, and the rooms to the rear are better for thet are sparedof the noise that is caused by the heavy traffic that pasesin front of the hotels. The room I had was in the front, and had to close the windows to be able to sleep. Fortunately it was not so hot the...

We booked in here for three nights for a bit of rest and recup[eration. Deliberately choosing an out of town place for peace and quiet. However, teh area is quite scruffy and if you are on foot not very easy to get to and from town. Also no beach which on an unseasonably hot spring doy was a bit of...

The hotel itself was fine - nothing wrong with the room or the breakfast. I paid extra for a seaview which did look nice from the small balcony. However when I asked about the beach, the receptionist pulled a face and said 'dieci chilometri'. Undaunted we went out in their back 'garden' and walked through some long grass to find...

“The rooms in the modern extension are better, top floor best as overlooks the sea. You must check for bed bugs - look for small black or red dots on the chairs/ creases of the mattress, worth a google search to see what the bed bugs look like too, just so you are aware. Their bites are the same size and as itchy as a mosquito bite, but you get many many more bites than from mosquitos.”
