This is a great place to stay to be in the center of so many sights and restaurants and public transport. Beautiful room, bathroom was lovely (shower small but great feel)and Italian bed was a good size and ok to sleep on-very nice accommodations in all! Giuseppe and his team of receptionists, breakfast Ladies were all super helpful and friendly plus delicious breakfasts 😋 Grazie… LC
Centrally located, just steps from the shops, historical monuments and markets. Friendly staff and lovely room. I stayed in a suite with my husband and dog. We were all very comfortable! I would highly recommend this hotel for those who travel with pets and who want to be center of action in Palermo.
What a lovely B&B! I chose to stay here because hotels seem to be hard to come by in Palermo for some reason. So after searching quite a lot, this place had excellent reviews, so I thought I would give it a try. I was nervous because I was traveling alone and not having the luxury of showing up at a hotel with a “store front” and knowing there would definitely be people inside the hotel to greet you, made me nervous. Giuseppe, the owner of the B&B put all my fears to rest though. I arranged through Giuseppe for an airport transfer and the sweetest man, Pippo arrived with a sign to pick me up at the airport. He was very friendly, helped me with my suitcases and talked with me the entire way from the airport to the B&B, unconcerned that my Italian wasn’t up to snuff to be able to have a thorough conversation with him. On our way to the hotel he called Giuseppe and let him know we would be arriving in a few minutes and Giuseppe was waiting outside the B&B to help me with my bags. The B&B is located on floor 1, which if you are American, means floor 2. The ground floor is floor 0. There is an elevator, which by European standards is quite good size. If you are used to American elevators, you will think it is small and if there are 2 of you and you have luggage, you’ll inevitably have to make 2 trips or send one person up with the luggage and the other person take the stairs. Upon entering the front door of the building there are 2 small steps you have to take up to where the elevator is located. Giuseppe checked me in and told me he was going to upgrade my room to a suite. YAY! He gave me all the pertinent information regarding WiFi (which works perfectly. I was able to use FaceTime and stream digital content with no issues) and he gave me my keys. You will receive a set of keys with 3 keys. One for the outside door of the building, one key for the door to the B&B and one for your room. Giuseppe also informed me that since the pandemic level had just been advanced from yellow to orange that the restrictions wouldn’t allow them to have the regular buffet breakfast they normally do, so he offered to go across the street to the bakery every morning and bring me pastries and coffee (which I don’t drink, but it was an option) and juice. Super lovely and the bakery is DELICIOUS! The bed was great! I slept like a rock. The mattress is probably considered a cushion firm. It’s firm but not like sleeping on concrete (thank god) and it has enough cushion to shape to you so you don’t wake up with a stiff back. The pillows are really nice too, very full but still squishy enough to support head and neck. Perfect! The room was super clean and had good amenities. The cleaning staff wears PPE (gloves, surgical mask) and cleans and disinfects). The entire B&B was very clean. In the suite I was in there were 2 TV’s. There is a ½ wall separating the bedroom from the living room and there was a TV on each side of the wall, so if you want to lay in bed and watch that’s an option or if you want to sit on the couch and watch, also an option. There is a large soaking tub in the suite and also a shower with lights that rotate through red, green and blue if you like your shower to have a little mood disco lighting. There is also a large rainfall shower head and also a handheld head. The soaps smell like oranges which is really lovely. Reading lamps by the bedside, extra pillow and blankets in the closet, espresso maker and coffee pods and tea pot with tea options and a small refrigerator. There is also a desk and a coat rack. My only wish for the bedding would be light to medium weight down comforters on the beds. I love a down comforter and it just makes the whole bed feel more luxurious and cozy. Even though the breakfast area wasn’t offering breakfast, there is a nice area to just sit and do work if you like. Lots of tables and even one that has a cozy bench to sit at (I love me a banquette). There is also a refrigerator and what looked like a microwave in the community kitchen. It was dead silent, especially at night, which is nice because I had read some other reviews that indicated it was loud. Certainly not the case while I was here and my room faced the street. It could totally be a different experience when the pandemic is over. I really enjoyed my stay here and would definitely stay again. Thanks to Giuseppe and his team for a lovely stay!!!…
The host welcomed us very feiende. Room were clean and there was absolutely nothing to complain about. If we return to Palermo we will recommend this place. Parking was secure and very close to the facility.
Nice locates boutique-style hotel in the city center close to cuateocanti! Friendly hotel owner Giuseppe! Nearby parking, a little expensive at 18€ a day .. but.. it’s the Capital Palermo. Only a very disappointing breakfast, not worthwhile! Overall... satisfactory
