The hotel was centrally located, the staff was very efficient and service oriented. There was one person who was very rude but, we thought it was the end of his shift or he had a hard day. The rooms were adequate and clean. The shower was also nice. The buffet breakfast was included and ok

Hotel accomodation was good, but the breakfast was disappointing - not in quantity but in quality ! For example, the coffee was unacceptable - probably the worst we've tasted in Italy - and the bread/rolls tasteless industrial products. Not what was expected. This is why the overall rating is lower. Nevertheless, it must be added that the staff were helpful...

The hotel is handy if you are getting the bus from the airport. 10 minute walk to from the bus stop to the hotel. Check in was prompt although we were not given the "Ready to Visit" pack we had booked online. The explanation didn't really make sense to us. The rooms are spacious and has all the facilities you...

The Mercure is a clean, modern, well-run small hotel. The breakfast buffet is excellent, having both hot and cold options, with fresh fruit, especially those wonderful blood oranges for which Sicily is famous. Our room on the fifth floor was spacious with a balcony overlooking the street. I recommend this hotel.

Clean, decent, a tad small rooms(but still manageable), new toilets, modern. Free wifi. Breakfast was soooooooooooooooooooooooooo good with a wide selection of fruits, juices, milk, scrambled eggs, cheese, tomatoes, ham, loads of cakes and sweet savoury and so much more! Would definitely stay here again. Definitely.

The location was great but we could not sleep well in the Hotel and could not spend much time in the room during the day. We stayed 2 nights and we could not sleep well on both nights as it's too hot to sleep and we need to keep the window open and it was too noisy to sleep. We...

Our room was 511 and it's quite big for Europe. We liked the room a lot. It has a small balcony. I would recommend staying in the room. Our room was always cleaned in the morning. I would really recommend this hotel.

It is, in short, exactly what one would expect from a Mercure. Although, it must be said, that at this time of year, their heating/cooling was out of control and the rooms were insufferably warm. That being said, it offers exactly what it says; comfortable rooms, reasonable wi-fi, a good breakfast in a fine location for a reasonable price. Not...

Breakfast is included with standard continental fare. The room comes with a large balcony. The bathroom is good size. The bed is comfortable. Overall a very solid hotel. It was not too noisy at night. There are restaurants offering tasty local dishes around the area. It is walkable to the historical district.

I walked to the Mercure from the train station. I was looking for the Ibis, but it was much further than I wanted to drag my stuff, so when I saw the Mercure, I stopped and got a room. I paid cash and received a very good room rate, much better than expected. The room was adequate, clean, the bed...
