We made our reservation at Ambasciatori because of the rooftop terrace and were happy to find that the staff, the rooms, and the location were all excellent. The hotel is located within walking distance of the main sights in Palermo and, although we had a room facing the road, we hardly heard a thing through the multi-paned windows. The best...

Stayed 3 nights in February as a solo traveler. Hotel is conveniently located within walking distance of train station (10 minutes straight down Via Roma, train station is the drop off point for bus from airport) and very close to all the historical sites and pedestrian streets. Palermo is like any city - a little on the gritty side -...

The front lobby is very nice and the front desk staff very friendly and helpful. The room was tastefully decorated and a good size. Bathroom was great, counter space and a large shower! The top of the hotel had a wonderful bar with a fantastic view of the city. Breakfast is served there. You can eat inside or outside with...

Used the Ambasciatori Hotel during a Rick Steves Tour. Hotel was great for the short stay, no complaints, it is typical of a European hotel with small rooms, small showers and small elevators. After all, one is only sleeping there, time should be spent in the great city! Caution, on a second stay we had a room on the 5th...

Three things are important to us when booking a hotel--location, comfort, and price. While this hotel has a good location, it lacks the other two essentials. Yes, our bed was comfortable, but a friend was not so fortunate with the spring sticking out of his mattress. On a windy night, we were awakened repeatedly by the window shuttered slamming against...

We had a nice room overlooking the square. With the window open it was noisy at about 3 am until 5 am. With it closed, it was not bad. Breakfast was good. Internet was generally poor. Service was very good. We enjoyed our stay.

This hotel is well situated and economical and offers charming ambiance and rooms, as well as attentive and helpful staff. The real treasure of the hotel is its rooftop terrace and breakfast room, offering a 360-degree view over the city

Hotel in very good position right downtown near markets, shopping, theater, etc. Francesca very helpful at the reception, has good knoledge and informations about the city. The access with a car is very complicated, don't even mention parking. Room at the lower floors are with little view but on the top floors very exceptional view over the city and the surroundings....

“Try not to stay on back side of the hotel, With that said, you can see the ocean from back side. Same view only more panoramic if you just go upstairs for a very nice breakfast. I would definitely stay there again if I was visiting Palermo.”
