Really good place to stay, friendly staff, clean and quiet rooms, amazing breakfast (homemade) and cheap, what more can you ask for? Don't be scared by the area which may not seem the best, at least that's what we thought, but it's just characteristic and very close to the centre, we left our car parked outside and the old ladies...

This was our base hotel for exploring Sicily. We stayed there for 2 nonconsecutive nights. Both nights we arrived very late. We were there with a hire car and to our dismay the hire car company had no GPS for us to use. So we had to find the hotel on our own. It was an absolute nightmare. We finally...

The breakfast...

After having a great experience in a B&B during my last time visit in Italy (feb this year), decided to try it out again. And Al Galileo Siciliano B&B did not let me down again. For a great price...

We took the coach from Palermo airport to the city and arrived quite late at night. Although the map/directions provided by the B&B looked simple, it took us quite a while to find it because the main street (Via Oreta) isn't labelled very well. The actual side-street the B&B is situated on looks pretty rough at night and the building...
