I absolutely love this hotel. My flight was cancelled, so I was a day late. I was met with such warmth and understanding, and a beautiful (water view) room. They have thought of everything here - they helped with transfer from the airport, they helped with restaurant reservations, they helped with tourism. The room had everything I needed (and they made me feel as if they'd provide anything that somehow wasn't there), and the breakfasts were wonderful. Easy walking distance to things I wanted to see, and right on the little bus line to the sights in Siracusa. I travel a fair amount, and can honestly say this is one of the nicest, warmest hotels I have ever experienced. Can't wait to come back to beautiful Ortigia and this hotel.

We were referred by a couple that go once a year...and it's the kind of place! We had our 3 sons, a wife and fiancé and all the rooms were absolutely beautiful. The breakfast was incredible and the staff were very hard working and responsive. My son and his fiancé are considering it a destination for a honeymoon!

This was one of the loveliest hotels at which we have ever stayed. The rooms were large, beautifully appointed, the bathroom gorgeous and huge, the bed and bedding the most comfortable. The breakfast was outstanding. Most impressive, additionally, was the exceptional hotel staff. They could not have been more helpful and considerate. We recommend this hotel without reservation.

Good location and rooms.very good breakfast too. The staff are excellent , particularly Marcello! We stayed 3 nights. The last had heavy rain resulting in a lot of water seeping into our room. Marcello organised help immediately and was generous in his treatment of us at checkout.

We booked a delux spa room at the hotel and was supposed to have a sea view……it didn’t! Unless you walked out onto the terrace and around the side!!!! The photos on the website are deceiving. The staff were all excellent. Breakfast was good. The bar was nice to relax and have a wine. Price point for the rooms was too high for a room looking on the back of other properties.

Bit of a nightmare to get to by car. Google maps seemed to favour the narrowest roads. However once you arrive you give them the keys and all is good. The hotel is close to the main drag but is quiet at night. We enjoyed our stay, the room was maybe a little on the small side but it was well equipped. Breakfast was good with waiter service for coffee and hot food, The car valeting worked really well and we would stay there again.

Brilliant service and rooms with everything one might need. Dinner was perhaps not up to scratch for a hotel of this quality. The front reception staff were very pleasant and helpful with information about where to eat and how to get around Siracusa.

Hotel is in historic building and has lots of charm . Photos on trip advisor of patios with ocean views are highly misleading, as these are not public spaces you can go to, they are attached to the most expensive rooms. Location is quiet, but not far from center once you get the hang of it. Mixed results at front desk. Some very helpful, others did not speak English well enough for me to communicate my questions. Breakfast pretty good but below expectation. Two buildings next to each other. The one that is not the check in building as a large lobby room that is very pleasant, little used.

We thoroughly enjoyed our 3 night stay at the Algila Ortigia Charme Hotel. The staff was incredibly professional and helpful and the facility itself was spotless and well-appointed. Our room was located in the beautiful annex a few feet across from the main hotel and was extremely comfortable. We enjoyed the hearty breakfasts each morning (eggs cooked to order), had a wonderful dinner in the restaurant and relaxed after a day of touring in the cozy bar off the lobby. We couldn't have been more impressed with every aspect of stay at Algila Ortigia Charme. Highly recommended!!

My husband and I stayed in this hotel for 3 nights. Everything about the hotel was fabulous, the location, the comfort of the room, of the common areas and the breakfast was gorgeous. Most of all the staff were most helpful and courteous before our arrival, at check-in and during our stay. There is valet parking available which is great if you are driving in Sicily. They also provided any information that you need in relation to the hotel and the city. We really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend it.
