For those looking for a relaxed, welcoming, comfortable, and well-priced and well-located bed and breakfast in Siracusa, you would be hard-pressed to find better than Giuggiulena. From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel at ease. We arrived by bicycle after a long day, and Sabrina immediately made sure we had water, secure places to put our bikes...

We stayed here for four nights. The location is handy (you can walk to Ortigia island in about 20 minutes, but can park outside in the street for free - so if you're travelling around Southern Sicily it's a great base). The bonus is the sea is down a dozen steps from your bedroom, so a dip before breakfast is...

This property is in a stunning location right on the edge of the sea which laps the rocks below. The welcome is good and the whole house is light, bright and clean with a light breeze blowing in from the sea where the sunrise is something to behold. It is a b and b and not a hotel so the...

The room was completely fantastic, and the view was amazing. Sabrina and all the staff were great and kind. You can go to swim and snorkeling directly from the basement of the building. We will definitely visit again for sure. Thank you Sabrina.!! ;))

Although having visited Sicily on a number of occasions, this was the first time we had visited the Syracuse area. Giuggiulena is run by two sisters, Sabrina and Claudia. The views from our balcony were stunning and breakfast was excellent. Ortigia has a wide range of places to eat and is an easy stroll from Giuggiulena which is in a...

Very special cosy place in Siracusa, not far from Ortigia. (Even if walking to the centre is not very nice and takes around 25 minutes. The easiest is to take the bikes from the B&B and park them anywhere in Ortigia!) Being in the hotel “felt like home”, very nice and clean rooms, stunning view from the balconies and adorable...

To finish off an amazing trip round Sicily my husband and I, together with his brother and wife, wanted a really special place to stay in Siracusa for our final three days. We certainly found it! Wow. What can I say. Both our double rooms in this clifftop villa - about a 15-minute walk from Ortigia - had a balcony...

Incredible location with spectacular views from balconies overhanging the sea. Sabrina (the owner) is charming so full of energy and enthusiasm. Breakfasts are without doubt the best we had during our Sicily tour - homemade pastries and cakes, cheeses and cold meats. Swimming from the rocks was a special experience - jumping from the rocks a favourite for our teenage...

Giuggiulena is an extremely charming place to spend a few days. It is on the sea and you can swim from the rocks in front of the building. Sabrina, the charming host, provides swim shoes and towels. There is also a private beach 100 metres up the road where you can pay for a lounge and an umbrella. Wifi is...

We spent two nights at this B&B which sits in a spectacular location right next to the ocean. As previous guests have said, our room and balcony directly overlooked the sea as did the breakfast balcony and guest lounge. In addition to the generous breakfast; tea, coffee and fruit were available all day. Sabrina is a delightful, friendly host who...

Clung to the sedimentary rock from which it's named after: "Giuggiulena" the building is almost a place set apart, a secret place, a shelter of serenity and natural beauty overlooking the sea accompanied by the waves and the moon. The sight goes up to the big harbour's creek and Ortigia, from where is just 15 minute walk. The love we feel for this place and our guests naturally makes us pay attention and extra care to every single detail in order to offer them joyful days and unforgettable nights. ... more   less
