We recently returned to our favorite hotel in Sicily, Villa Schuler. The hotel is now 4 star, and deserves to be. The hotel sits in a garden overlooking the Ionian Sea. The view is just beautiful! The rooms are nicely appointed and face either the sea or the gardens. One can see the antique Greek amphitheater to the left or...

HOTEL’S FAVOURITE REVIEW

If you’re going to Sicily – this is the place to stay! Taromina is beautiful and the Hotel Villa Schuler is superb, in a great location with incredible history and family history. We stayed in the Garden Villa for seven (7) nights – which is a garden within a garden. This was very special. The garden itself is very unique...

Dear Mitchell G, thank you for the nice words you wrote about your recent stay in our GARDEN VILLA SUITE. It is our largest Suite of 48 m² inside our subtropical garden. It has no sea view but it’s advantages are praised specially by guests looking for absolute privacy: it has a private access inside our large mediterranean park, bedroom,...

The hotel is in a superb position. The terrace has a view of mount Etna. The most enjoyable part of the stay was to have the leisurely a la carte breakfast on the terrace. The rooms are fairly basic but comfortable. The hotels garden leads to the Main Street and so very accessible for shops and restaurants. The entrance has...

A charming, small hotel in a fantastic location with a homely, traditional Sicilian feel. We had a lovely sunny room with a sea view and a balcony, everything was exceptionally clean and well maintained and we felt immediately welcome. Breakfast on the terrace every morning with views of the bay and Mount Etna, served with a friendly smile was always...

Nice hotel with helpful staff. They provided directions and hand holding when we arrived, badly needed on the narrow, winding one-way streets when getting to the hotel. We asked for and got a room facing the small and pretty garden in the back. We had no sea view but it really didn’t matter (and it was in fact helpful for...

The above words sum up this hotel. The location close to the main shopping street and the rest of Taormina's attractions, with a breakfast terrace overlooking the sea, can hardly be beaten. The hotel itself provides high quality well appointed rooms. We had room 23 with a balcony overlooking the garden at the rear of the hotel. I booked too...

Delightful welcome from staff who can't do too much for you. Lovely rooms (perhaps on the small side, but, hey), fabulous view from rooms, terrific beds, perfect little balcony, spot-on for town centre, and, in a town where parking can be nigh-on impossible, garage parking at a reasonable price. The parking is worth every Euro. Access by road is 'interesting'...

This hotel had the best views of all the places we stayed in Italy plus it had an amazing private terrace off our bedroom! The hotel was in a very good location to all the attractions and nightlife of Taormina. I think Taormina is the prettiest town in Sicily and had some really interesting basilicas and archaeological sites. We had...

This is exceptional place to stay, totally first class in every way. It's located just a few steps below Corso Umberto in the center of Taormina and is a superb example of a high quality European historic hotel. Every detail of room and service is carefully attended to and the breakfast on the terrace, overlooking the bay and Etna, is...
