The hotel staff were warm and friendly and arranged transport from Catania. We had a sea-view room. The bathroom was not overly large, but we felt that the quality fittings more than made up for this. Excellent breakfast on patio, with a view to remember. No pool but lush and pleasant garden. No evening meals when we were there (October)...

We only stayed one night - unfortunately. What a great place. Located in a lovely garden, overlooking Mount Etna and the spectacular coast, this hotel has an Art Nouveau feeling in some areas and a contemporary feel on the added top floor. I stayed in one of the large rooms on the roof top: large sliding door to the roof...

This was our 3rd visit to Villa Schuler. This very special 100 ++ year old hotel is the longest family run hotel in Taormina. Owners Gerhard and his lovely wife Christine do everything in their power to make your stay a memorable one. It has been the Schuler family tradition for over 100 years to make hospitality their main objective....

We have just returned from a week in Sicily and a week in Rome along with 4 friends. We all loved the Hotel Villa Schuler! It is a beautifully maintained, small hotel with lovely gardens and restful reading areas. It has a magnificent view overlooking the Mediterranean. Mt. Etna can be seen in the background as well as the ancient...

My husband I spent nine wonderful nights at the Villa Schuler and cannot wait to return for our third visit to the hotel next year. Our room with a view of the bay was large, comfortable, clean, light and airy. There was ample storage and shelving in both the bathroom and room. The king size bed had sufficient reading lamps...

We stayed here for five nights in October. Hotel Villa Schuler sits atop a cliff overlooking the sea. You could not ask for a better view of the coast; the twinkling lights of Giardini Naxos at night are great. From our top-floor suite we could just see the peak of Etna puffing steam, which everyone should visit. The hotel is...

Our second stay at Villa Schuler was just as fabulous as our first stay 6 months ago. We had an amazing experience the first time that we had to return as soon as we could. We couldn't wait to sit on the terrace and have the scrumptious breakfast that is served daily. The location of the hotel is exquisite with...

We stayed here for a short , three night, autumn break never having visited Toarmina or Sicily before. Villa Schuler suited our requirements perfectly mostly due to the location, just off the Corso Umberto, which meant that the main shopping area, cafes, restaurants, Greek Theatre and cable car down to Taormina Mare were all within easy walking distance. The Villa...

We have just returned from a short break in Sicily which included a 3 day stay at the Villa Schuler. We stayed in a Sunrise Junior Suite on the top floor. Although 'Suite' is pushing the description a little, as the room was fairly small, it was spotlessly clean and had wonderful sea views. It had a good sized terrace...

Just returned from a week at the Hotel Villa Schuler in Taormina, Sicily. What a wonderful place. We took a Junior suite overlooking their own garden, which is a haven of peace and shade, away from the hussle and bussle of the main street in Taormina, Corso Umberto. Looking left from our room's balcony we had a wonderful view of...
