We stayed here 2.5 years ago and thought it was the best stay of our vacation so this year we were really looking forward to returning. Simply put, it’s still the best! Jeanette is a natural hostess and accomplished chef. Her husband Luciano is a gracious host. Jeanette’s delicious breakfasts, tailored to meet every guest’s special dietary needs and desires,...

Step out the front door and it's all there - hiking, shopping. Museums, a flea market, multiple restaurants, easy strolls through winding streets. Casa Chilenne's gracious hosts Jeanette and Luciano were filled with suggestions on what to see, where to go and the breakfasts were ample and special, especially when "waffles" were on the menu. The rooms were well furnished,...

Staying at the Casa Chilenne in Cortona was a great experience for us for several reasons. Central location on the town's main street. A very comfortable room (Il Nido) on the top floor of an historic but totally renovated building with a large well equipped bathroom and connected shared sitting area and terrace. The excellent breakfasts. And in particular, the...

Casa Chilenne is located in the centre of Cortona. It has charming rooms, is very accessible thanks to the chair lift, and includes an incredible breakfast. The owner, Jeanette, goes above and beyond expectations in helping guests feel comfortable and making sure that their needs are met. She was able to provide scrumptious breakfasts that were gluten-free (a very big...

I've been to Casa Chilenne a few times now. Jenny (the host) is originally from San Francsico and she always makes me feel like I'm home. I keep going back because its good. Nice large rooms (I stayed in Ïl Nido"which is a large room on the top floor) which has a super large bathroom by Italian standards.

I always look forward to staying at Jeanette's wonderful B & B situated right on the main pedestrian street of Cortona. The rooms are sumptuous, very well-designed, clean and an ideal place to relax after a day of soaking up Cortona's rich culture and gastronomy. The breakfast is one of my favorite parts. Eggs made to order and a wonderful...

When Jeanette and Luciano were waiting up for us in the piazza at 1.00 am to help us with our bags and park our car after our flight was delayed by 5 hours, we knew we'd made the right choice. Jeanette's local knowledge was great, her breakfast delights were endless, the room we stayed in on the top floor was...

My wife and I ran away to Tuscany after a busy week in Rome and stayed here on the advice of our friend who spent time here when he lived in Rome. Our hostess, Jeanette, was extraordinary; the whole experience was WONDERFUL. Jeanette's real "American" breakfasts were well prepared and an enjoyable mix with the home made baked goods as...

Jeanette is a chef extraordinaire who delighted us with hearty, made-to-order breakfasts, cappuccinos and delectable homemade pastries. Dining room for breakfast is warm and inviting. You must visit Cortona, and you must stay at this B&B. We booked the B&B based on reviews, and we were not disappointed. Conveniently located near Piazza Garibaldi, the B&B is on the main pedestrian-friendly street and you can easily catch the hourly mini-bus shuttle (10 - 15 mins ride) to the train station. (Note that if you are arriving...
