This is a great example of how to run a really successful B&B. Situated right in the centre of Cortona, it has large, well-equipped rooms, lovely (and spotlessly clean) bathrooms, and all the conveniences you would expect. What really makes Casa Chilenne special is the warmth of the welcome from Jeanette and Luciano (and their dogs.) You get the feeling... More

I drove to Cortona after picking up a new BMW in Munich, because I wanted a home base for pleasure day rides to the historic hill towns of Tuscany. Casa Chilenne truly exceeded my expectations. My room was very tastefully decorated in a way that made it feel both like a comfortable home and a genuine extension of the historic... More

What a penomonenal B&B in a phenomenal place! Jeanette and her husband have put together a TEXTBOOK B&B! None of us wanted to leave. She did WAY more than she had to do to make us all feel so at home. If you pass this beauty up, it would be an absolute travesty!

Jeanette is an accommodating hostess who makes you feel at home from the moment you arrive. I was welcomed with fresh home baked goods and a cup of tea. I stayed at three different hotels in the Cortona area and this was by far my favorite. I was introduced to other guests, some of whom have became friends. I was... More

Stayed here for three nights with my mom and sister. Jeanette was gracious and accomodating and everything that you read in the reviews are true. She greeted us with coffee and refreshments which were welcoming after a long day of travel. She was wonderfully accomodating at breakfast with our dietary restrictions and even recommended a friend to give us a... More

Owners and staff go the extra mile. Chair lift for luggage and people that cannot handle the stairs, welcome on check in with freshly baked pastry of the day, central location. Easy to drop off luggage with one of the party at the top of the hill where only short roll on level street to front door. Public parking easy... More

The location is perfect; located in the heartbeat of Cortona, you can walk right out your door and find everything you need. We visited Cortona in 2008 for a day. We always wanted to go back and stay a couple of nights in the town to experience all it has to offer. The Casa Chillenne was our perfect place to stay. For starters it is on the Via Nazionale and in a classic Italian 5 story town house. This is the cleanest... More

We stayed here for 4 nights and had an absolutely wonderful time. The rooms are spotless and tastefully decorated, with a/c, a TV, a very reasonably priced minibar, and internet access - easily the best value I've gotten at a B&B in any country. The breakfast is delicious - homebaked pastries and scrumptious waffles (and eggs and bacon if you... More
