I was recommended to Luca and Terzo di Danciano by a dear friend who hosts retreats in Italy for the 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training I just co-led for 12 participants. I had high hopes for the Yoga space and for the lodging and food, and I was delighted that everything was even better than I had anticipated. Luca is... More

We booked Terzo di Danciano for our annual Italy retreat. A group of 25 of us. Everything was lovely. Would recommend without reservation. The Rooms are beautifully and simply renovated. There are little touches everywhere -- drawings on the walls, antique furniture. And the architecture of the main building is great as well.

As a group of five women, we flew from different countries to meet in Rome. A teacher of Dolce Yoga and a teacher of Qoya led the retreat. We rented a car in Rome and drove to this magnificent villa. This isn't a castle - it is a retreat from the world. The only glitch in our stay was that... More

Our stay at Luca's place was a super experience. The restoration of the holiday house has been done with a lot of knowledge and makes the place very special. The garden and its pool is a very peaceful environment to feel at ease during our holidays. From the kitchen window we had a breath taking view over the Tuscan valley.... More

Stayed at Terzo di Danciano for a week. Lovely hilltop location overlooking the hills of Tuscany. They readily accommodated my no dairy and no pasta (in Italy!) diet and provided a perfect setting for rest and relaxation. There is a pool surrounded by gardens, with cherries just coming into season and figs not far behind. Luca, the owner, is a... More

I went the villa for the 10 days before my wedding, to relax with my fiance, my family and his and it was a fantastic family holiday. The villa is beautiful and very well renovated with an artsy touch. The views are stunning and Luca, the owner was a lovely, smiley and helpful host and gave us the privacy we... More

Luca's place is simply wonderful. This villa is pure, simple, real Italy. No frills, no extravagance. But more beautiful and peaceful than we ever could have expected. We stayed two weeks in Italy and our two nights at Luca's were, by far, the highlight. We arrived after dinnertime and were greeted by the housekeeper, who spoke little English but told... More

Yes this review is a little late, but better late than never. We stayed here in July 2010 for 3 nights and it was absolutely fabulous. We arrived late in the evening, after a lengthy drive from Pisa airport, hungry and tired. We were met by a very friendly host who recommended a place to eat and even called for... More

We spend our summer vacation on travelling through France and Italy. Terzo di Danciano was one of the first places we booked and we were not disappointed on arrival.
