Stayed here as part of a wedding party in late July 2016. We were a large party, and took over the whole residence. The beauty of the location is spectacular and the salt water pool was refreshing in the heat. Each of the apartments has their charms, but not all are particularly suitable for young children (but it is a...

The Monastero San Silvestro is a stone's throw from Cortona in a small settlement. Once in the spacious grounds, it seems you are in the middle of the Tuscan countryside. The former monastery is a beautiful stone and brick building converted into apartments with all of the amenities. Donato is a kind and helpful host, too.

I stayed here with my two little boys back in October 2014! It was absolutely amazing. Clean apartment, beautiful scenery, superb location minutes away from Cortona and other beautiful towns on the south of Tuscany. We easily traveled to Cortona, Monticchiello, Perugia and drove up though the val d'orcia up to Florence to drop off our rental car. Highly recommend...

Donato, the manager, and his wife helped us so much with everything relating to the wedding. They are wonderful people and because of them our...

We had a wonderful 3-night stay at the Monastero San Silvestro. We stayed in the 3-bedroom apartment. One room had a queen bed and its own bathroom, another bedroom was a Queen bed, and the third were two twin beds. All beds were comfortable and clean. There was another bathroom in the hallway. We enjoyed having the extra space over...

Looking for a place to stay, there were 4 of us - two were recent college graduates (and they ran on their own schedules), so we chose a 3-bedroom apartment. The rooms were very clean and comfortable and the common areas were also nice. I was great having a refrigerator, microwave and stove available for coffee, tea, breakfast and snacks....

I stayed here with my wife for a few days and we were very happy with our stay. The house used to be a monetary dating back to the 14 hundreds. We stayed in a two bed room apartment that was very spacious; it included a dining room and kitchenette, and a nice living space with a fire place in...
